It isn't new music per say, but I'm quite excited for the Postal Service's 10th anniversary reissue (slightly more excited by the prospect of tour dates). Can't believe this album is ten years old already! http://pitchfork.com/news/49139-the-postal-services-give-up-reissue-will-contain-two-new-songs-and-much-more/

So, Ryan is producing the new Lemonheads record. He is also going to be playing the drums! This should be interesting... http://pitchfork.com/news/47894-ryan-adams-producing-and-drumming-on-new-lemonheads-album/

Just booked my tickets to see Justin at the Union Chapel (the small church in Islington, London that Jeff recently played) on 29th January. Can't wait! -
Bruce Springsteen Makes Surprise Appearance at the Stone Pony! For those hoping to see a performance by famed New Jersey resident Bruce Springsteen, hanging out at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, is always a decent bet. And last Friday night, for prescient Springsteen fans at the Pony, it turned out be a perfect bet. The stars were certainly aligned: Alejandro Escovedo was playing a show that night at Springsteen's favorite haunt; Springsteen is an admirer of Escovedo's work, and vice versa (plus they share a manager). Probably the most glaring sign pointing to "Yes, Bruce Will

What is everyone's thoughts on the new album? After a couple of spins on the record player, I am really digging this record. 'All To All' is the standout track for me so far, I think...

But do you love Bill Bailey's Big Bird Watch?

I have been wanting to start listening to Devendra Banhart for a while now, but have been unsure where to start. He played at ATP in December but I missed him due to a scheduling conflict. How does this album rate with in comparison to the rest of his catalog? Is this a good starter album?

Hey all. Has anyone had the opportunity to try the wesc headphone range? There are mixed reviews on the sound quality in the link below, but it sounds as if most of the posters are using them with an ipod. I get the impression they are more fashion over function. Can anyone shed any light? http://www.freshpilot.com/wesc-street-fashion-headphones/

'I Know It's Over' by the Smiths. Jesus, what a heavy song. 'Elizabeth, You Were Born To Play That Part' on 29 by Ryan Adams is another of my main 'go to' songs in such situations. 'Love is natural and real but not for such as you and I, my love...' Yikes.

I just went to amazon.co.uk and it says that the mono set is 'in stock'. Does anyone in the UK know if this is the case or am I going to get a message once I have ordered stating that I am on a waiting list of about 7,000 people waiting for re-stock? Can't believe I left it this late to order

5 star review of the mono set... http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/sep/03/beatles-in-mono-review

I have never been to the Troxy before either, but it does look special! Can't wait for tonight, it's been too long since my last Wilco experience

Exactly! As much as I like Demolition as a compilation, there are several songs that were overlooked. Perhaps Lost Highway could do a Demolition Volume II with the following: Walls Angelina Like the Twilight Karina Dear Anne Idiots Rule The World Hey There Mrs. Lovely (infinitely better than These Girls!) Revelator Listen to the Radio Gimme Sunshine Black Clouds -

I would love to see LH release 48 Hours at some stage (or see Ryan release it on his PaxAm label). 'Walls' and 'Karina' might actually be two of my favourite RA tunes. I can't believe they weren't put on Demolition... -
Wow, incredible. Anyone here a fan?

You should pick up a Carissa's Wierd album. Good luck finding one for a decent price though.

Such terrible news. You will be sorely missed Jay, RIP.
