  2. Apparently, the first 6 minutes of the dark knight is playing before I am legend in select Imax locations. If you wanna see it bootlegged, here it is while it lasts http://www.aintitcool.com/node/35081 Apprently, maybe sometime today, this site will launch the official new trailer, or who knows what. http://www.atasteforthetheatrical.com/
  3. that's a good one. I almost wrapped a plate of nachos this year, I was gonna make them just before we went to the party, but I ran out of time. This is my dream though, and one day I'll make it come true.
  4. shhhh. . . I was lucky, quite lucky. please see it, and make him see it, I honestly dont think you will regret it. IMO, everyone should see this. Yes, I'm a biased PTA fan, but push that aside, this is a must see, no questions asked. This year has felt quite fresh, I personally have had some wonderful theater moments, and honestly it feels like it's been awhile since I've had so many movies effect me in a year.
  5. Curious if anyone had worthy White Elephant gift stories?
  6. I still believe the run from Blood Simple to The Man Who Wasn't There is quite an achievment, no to say some haven't run off a good number of flicks in a row, but 9, at least for my taste is damn strong. Especially for American Filmmakers
  7. Some I really enjoyed - THERE WILL BE BLOOD NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN CONTROL ATONEMENT PERSEPOLIS INTO THE WILD ONCE Before the Devil KNOWs you're Dead The Diving Bell & The Butterfly 3:10 to Yuma KING of Kong ZODIAC (Both cuts) Juno DEEP WATER (technically 06') but I never saw it anywhere until 07'
  8. production stopped yesterday, for what that's worth.
  9. I would also recommend this album, I've been listening to a lot lately, if you don't know Salt & Samovar give them a go - I first heard them through KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic - really like this album. Myspace Page
  10. I think some of you might like this guy, if you don't know him already, his name is Doug Burr, this is his latest album, and he has one prior to this. Pretty Good Singer/Songwriter

  12. these two films changed me as a young lad in Scotland - gladitator sucked ass
  13. i have a 15" macbook pro and i never leave home without it. I have a humongo Mac Pro with 30" & 23" displays at work, we have a strong, dedicated relationship, like that movie Cherry 2000, except it has no legs or arms, and doesn't go out to bars at night
  14. I've decided two things this morning. 1. I'm not gonna even trim the beard anymnore 2. I'm only gonna listen to Hank Williams for awhile
  15. 100 feels like a bit much for this year, I get exhausted trying to read that list - kinda lke they wanna get everything in there to look good
  16. The Fog is a bit dated, especially when measuring up to the rest of the Carpentar catalogue and how well they hold up. But I still enjoy it, Christine is still quite underrated. The Mist, like most movies could have been perfect, by sticking to the original short story a bit more, I don;t want to spoil anything, but I would say, this is a renter.
  17. I did, and overall did not like it. Most of my problems lie within the script and the CG, which was not that good.
  18. Songs you just can't get enough of Right NoW! More Lights - Georgie James Good Clothes - Little Brother Marry Song - Band of Horses Vice Rag - AA BONDY Skinny Love - Bon Iver
