  1. I just get a kick that he came out of the blue to announce his" retirement" from non-relevance/obscurity. Good for him, though. that he's pulled a Michael Jordan and returned to his craft. Again.
  2. Yesterdays, Breakdown, Coma, The Garden, Estranged, Dead Horse, Bad Obsession, Bad Apples, Locomotive, Pretty Tied Up, Shotgun Blues,.... I like Matt Sorum's drumming, too.
  3. Because no one has asked, here is my idea of a combined Illusions disc: You Ain't the First Bad ObsessionDouble Talkin' JiveNovember RainThe GardenBad ApplesDead HorseComaYesterdayBreakdown Pretty Tied UpLocomotiveEstrangedYou Could be Mine
  4. Yes. Please, don't wake him. He gets angry when awoken and announces to everyone that he is no longer sleeping, but awake.
  5. Often, actually. And Neil: Yeah, Appetite is a great album. There are some really good tunes on the Illusion albums, imo, and a bunch of pretty crappy/juvenile ones, too.
  6. Man, that almost comes of as sarcastic, NOJ.
  7. Well, in fairness to me, I've edited the question several times already....
  8. Don't fill up on olives, dude. Trust me.
  9. Great tune, but a great band, as well. Even though no one listens to the Stones anymore, I'm pretty sure you meant "Street Fighting Man".
  10. True enough, A-man! I like the concept of selecting better cuts off the 4 albums and compiling onto one tape. I would like to do that with Use Your Illusions I, II. I actually was thinking of that this morning in the shower.
  11. Cool. Keep me posted on what you meat for dinner, please. Did I say "meat"?!! I meant "eat" !! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  12. IIRC, Gene's was a lot of synth-y, smphony-y, ballad-like crap. And Peter's was almost all crap. It's been a loooong time since I've heard many of them, though....
  13. Name one tune that you never turn off/switch the station if you catch it on the radio. Because it's THAT awesome of a tune for you. A band/artist you don't really dig too much, but the tune does it for you. Every time. I reserve the right to comment on your selection, too. Although there are many for me, I'll go with: Aerosmith: "Sweet Emotion"
  14. I had all 4 of those solo albums. Ace's was the "best".
  15. Heard Paul Stanley yakking on the local radio this morning (promoting a book that he's coming in to town to promote). According to Paul, he's "breaking records" at his book signings. It's apparently a book about a young man's struggles and overcoming adversity to become successful and written to help convey that the Common Man really isn't that much different than the people he/she looks up to. I smell a Pulitzer.
  16. Hamden, eh? Used to live close to there. Didn't think there were any music venues in Hamden, actually!
  17. You realize it's a work/school day...
  18. The apocalyptic (?) has apparently already gone down. All you need to worry about is which shitty, processed food you'll be bringing. Bringing where, you ask? No one ones. The apocalypse? Located somewhere in Jersey, maybe?
  19. Well, they are one of the best-selling bands (album-wise) of all time, too.
  20. No problem. Just never had the desire to see it. And I'm with A-man, never cared much for Pink Floyd. Had Atom Heart Mother Lp and Wish You Were Here on 8-track, though....
