  1. Ha! Can hardly believe that was almost 6 yrs ago.....
  2. Don't listen to him. There are plenty of people here to hurt you! If I had to do it all over, I would remain in the unknown. It's not worth it, really. Scamper away unscathed while you still have some form of unknown dignity.
  3. Pick one for what? In any event, it's gotta be Bugs Bunny: the biggest wise-ass in cartoon history. Love that little bastard.
  4. I wonder if a lot of people will "enter".
  5. Nice. Was digging on a matrix show (12.1.66) this morning. Some wild versions of classics....
  6. Why are you even speculating on what the thread should/shouldn't be?
  7. Hey, she found multi-millions of dollars through orchestrating her husband's murder, I'm pretty sure she can find a plane.
  8. Why would you feel better? She's kind of wacky.
  9. Caught GnR in '90 twice. While the line up had shifted a bit, they were still great shows.
  10. Benjamin Button had that tattooed on his chest, too, a la Tupac.
  11. She likes to Oingo Boingo more so than to Rocky road.
  12. She married Mask and then the dude who wrote The Simpson's theme song.
  13. Small: -Meat Puppets/Bad Brains in Roanoke, VA @ '87 -Phish '87/'88 in small bars NH (Stone Church, etc) and VT. One show only about 12 of us.... -Taj Mahal, Barrelhouse, Salem, Va @'88, maybe 200 people. -J Garcia/John Khan acoustic Bushnell, Hartford, CT 1984 and other JGB shows there. -Black Crowes, SCI, etc. base of ski mountain in Aspen '97 -Nirvana in NYC late '93. Large: -Many GD shows -Many Red Rocks shows -Zappa @ '80 Hartford, CT -Police @ '79 New Haven, CT -Kinks @ '80 New Haven
  14. I caught these shows and have never heard a very good recording of them. The tapes I have are kind of tinny/too much treble-y.
  15. I saw The Bangles come out and play a couple encore tunes with the GD in New Orleans in '88. Pretty weird.
  16. Not really a "guest" appearance, but Phil Lesh wore a Barney outfit for his kid's birthday for a tune on April Fool's in '93.
  17. Etta James sang with the GD on NYE (and the night before) in 1982. Apparently, she had never heard of them previously. Tower of Power Horns joined and some nice versions of "Tell Mama," "Lovelight," etc. were played....
  18. The LoS/Neil Young thing doesn't surprise me, really, nor the Phish/BB King appearance. Regardless of what you think of their music, Phish is a respected bandby a lot of heavyweights. Plus, they've shared the stage with shitloads of musicians.
