Say hello to this kid, who gets to see Pavement May 11th, 12th, and the 13th in London!

I suppose if I made a record and people were using it to deliberately using it to torture other people, I'd be pretty pissed. On moral grounds. I mean, music is made to be enjoyed. It's not supposed to be some weapon used to hurt someone. I guess that's the point. There is no legal way for it to stop, but the artist deserves their share of respect for what they labored a shitton to make...so sort of Matt's point.
Luckily, the music I record is too soft to be played too loudly.

One of my top 5 albums. Ever.

Wilco (the album) is a top 10, but not top 5.

1. Dirty Projectors - Bitte Orca
2. Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
3. Girls - Album
4. The Flaming Lips - Embryonic
5. Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest
6. Phoenix - Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
7. Passion Pit - Manners
8. Wilco (the album)
9. Dinosaur Jr. - Farm

I can see that being a great guitar for some Spinal Tap-esque band.

c'mon Gobias...isn't there a halloween reference somewhere in arrested development?
I have scoured my Arrested Development brain and have not found success in the halloween+Arrested Development department.

and then
after rummaging through the reviled p4k, I found the track "Sleepyhead" which is fucking awesome so I got the rest to see what was up.

Last year, NYG v Miami was a mess. If I remember correctly the condition of the field was not conducive to an nfl football game. I believe there were bad weather conditions preceding and during that game, but the consensus was the field was the worst playing surface many of the players could remember playing on. I could be wrong here, just going on memory of a game I didn't watch (but read about), but I wonder if that comes into play. If so, could be another 5-2 game like last year (kidding, but wouldnt that be the worst score of any nfl game in history? that or 4-2. Wonder if those have ever been final scores).
It wasn't pro ball, but an Auburn game (Auburn-USC?) game ended at 3-2.
I read ESPN's power rankings, and they say that it's possible that the Colts go 14-2. I looked, and it's entirely possible. Just absurd.
7 Sun, Oct 25 @ St. Louis
8 Sun, Nov 1 San Francisco
9 Sun, Nov 8 Houston
10 Sun, Nov 15 New England
11 Sun, Nov 22 @ Baltimore
12 Sun, Nov 29 @ Houston
13 Sun, Dec 6 Tennessee
14 Sun, Dec 13 Denver
15 Thu, Dec 17 @ Jacksonville
16 Sun, Dec 27 NY Jets
17 Sun, Jan 3 @ Buffalo
Tough teams are NE, Baltimore, Denver. And it's HIGHLY unlikely that they'll go 0-3 vs. them. They can easily sweep the rest. That is freaky business, man.

Yikes. I probably woulda gotten pissed if I had seen that game, too.

Ok, since the Patriots are playing the TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (worst pass defense, ever) in London, it's time to start taking the over/under on point differential AT HALFTIME. So:
Spread greater than 24 points at halftime
Spread 24 points or less at halftime
Let's see your calls, everyone.

I just don't like it at all. That's all.
Then...it seems a bit much to call it a "shit" song, doesn't it?

Gastr del Sol's Camoufleur is one I go back to often. And not that the guy is exactly obscure, but no one is ever really familiar with Paul McCartney's Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, but I really, really love that record.

Christ that is an EXCELLENT team, what are you in a 4 team league? Good job man, I have Schaub and I'm still surprised he caught up with my opponents QB (he had Brees)
10-team league. I missed the draft so the majority is auto-drafted. Only real pickups were Packers D/ST and Longwell. Picked up the Packers like in the second week when the Pats D wasn't netting me any points and then Longwell when Nick Folk wasn't doing so hot and Neil Rackers (my replacement) sucked it up the week after. I ended up with that good of a team because one guy was being really dumb about drafting and took a bunch of Pittsburgh players really early, like Rothlisberger with the 3rd pick, Hines Ward in round 2, Pit's D in round 3, stuff like that. Now on any given Sunday the Steelers are a good team, but fantasy-wise you are pretty senseless to be picking those guys up that early. So it autodrafted me that team, for the most part.
I'm going to be honest, I will never not start Schaub at this point ever again unless it's his bye week. Also I ended up with 172 points (Jones got 3 more on the night).

This is the story of my fantasy team thus far this week:
Matt Schaub: 29pts
Adrian Peterson: 16pts
Ahmad Bradshaw: 10pts
Thomas Jones: 25pts (4th qtr)
Randy Moss: 30pts (4th qtr)
Marques Colston: 22pts
Antonio Gates: 0pts (plays MNF)
Packers D/ST: 21pts
Ryan Longwell: 16pts
Total: 169pts
And this is even with me benching Steve Slaton (18pts), and Gates not even have played yet. So this is one zany week of NFL. I'm happy because I have about twice my opponent's fantasy points currently. Haha.
