Happy birthday, dude. Hope it's filled with copious amounts of goodness.

George Harrison - All Those Years Ago
Paul and Ringo guest on the track. Ringo may have played drums as well as providing backing, but I know Paul was only backing...I'm sure George still harbored some distaste for McCartney and purposely didn't let him do more.
I believe George and John were on chunks of Ringo's 1973 Ringo record. Wikipedia says:
"I'm the Greatest" - John on keys/backing vocals, George on guitars, Ringo on lead.
George is also all over the record with his guitar-work. The only McCartney contribution is "Six O'Clock" where he has some keys and backing vocals.
Interesting to note though that Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Rick Danko, and Garth Hudson (the Band sans Richard Manuel) are on the "Sunshine Life For Me (Sail Away Raymond)" track, alongside George, Ringo and Voormann.
edit:
"All Those Years Ago" credits
* George Harrison on lead guitar, vocals
* Paul McCartney on backing vocals
* Linda McCartney on backing vocals
* Denny Laine on backing vocals
* Al Kooper on keyboards
* Herbie Flowers on bass
* Ringo Starr on drums

We are only six strong this season in an office league. And we're all a little prone to ADD, in that we've been picking up and floating players all season long.
Ah, ok. You're going to have a lot more open players in a 6-team league. I'm in a 10-team and I would be appalled at the rest of the league (and myself) if Ricky Williams even went onto the waiver wire.
I know it's still early and all, but Brett's 17 TDs vs. 3 interceptions are probably a little bit better than "pretty crappy".
All-Day's omnipresence in the Vikings' offense has really lightened the Favre's load. Favre will be fine for the rest of the season. The Pack never really had a back as talented as AP to take the heat off of Favre gunslinging it downfield, which probably has something to do with his excessive picks count.

I picked up Ricky early yesterday before Ronnie officially went on IR.
And how in the name of the Dude did Ricky end up on waivers for you? Like, I don't think anyone would drop him. Unless you're in like a 5-team league. But 10-team+, if someone is not owning Ricky something is not right.
Either way, I was surprised to learn in a sidebar that John Mayer is one of America's Most Wanted.
Must be all the bad pop songs.

Olbermann, of all of these blowhards, is the only one who can rile me up into a frustrated frenzy.
In Olbermann's defense, he really, really likes Arrested Development so much he had gotten super-pissed at Fox for canceling it. I think that's where his furious anger comes from. So I support him on that issue.

I can't believe Flacco barely passed. And now that makes three lost fantasy games in a row, because Flacco wasn't given a chance to throw a TD. Thanks a fucking bunch, John Harbaugh.
Note: I have given up on the Browns already. It's ok.

I think this summarizes the issue at hand pretty well:

Who was that fop that Hannity used to yell at?
Alan Colmes? He left, and if I remember correctly Colbert got Hall & Oates to write Colmes a farewell song.

This is really the only thing that applies to me:
"You can tell when a band sounds just enough like Joy Division, but not too much, you know?"
So I guess I'm not really a hipster. And that's kind of my point. Hah.

Though I suppose mine is more of the remaster than the original.

Seeing as I had only begun existing in the last year of the 80s...I voted for the Replacements. But I suppose my opinion isn't the best.

That's a new one to me. I have never heard of Psychoacoustics.
I hope that guy has a lot of money for lawyer fees.
The dude has no case. Better save the money to pay for it. I heard the clip and it's basically a remix. Nothing to distinguish itself significantly from the originals, just a larger emphasis on the backing harmonies and the toms on Ringo's drums. That's it.

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
The Clash - London Calling
The Band - Music From Big Pink
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Nothing risqué, you don't want to suddenly hate an album you choose for your stay. But any Beatles album in the Beatles slot would do.

It's pretty un-legit to have to always play MW2 by myself (as the few friends I have on XBox Live are not on a lot). Simply wondering if any VCers partake in this hellhole of a game (I mean that in the best of ways, as in, "I shouldn't play it 'cause I got too much to do"), and perhaps want to compile a "friends" list to ensure no one games alone. Well, at least game alone as little as possible. Drop a line here, PM me your gamertag (privacy!!!) and once we get enough people I'll send a blanket PM with all the Live gamertags with accompanying VCtags to ensure you know you're gaming with.
Also, if you want, send me a list of games you do go online with, especially if you're the Halo type, that can be included.
I suppose it would be very sad if I was the only one here who plays MW2, or Live in general.
edit: no, this isn't a call for starting one of those dumb "clans" that somehow has become the goal of all noobs. just some people to play online with.
