  1. And plus, working illegal immigrants provide, as far as I remember, at least 1-2 billion dollars to the SS per year through the taxes they pay. Because their SS numbers are fake, the illegal immigrants don't see a damn penny of what they put in there. So maybe paying for their health care is how we can pay them back for paying for our old people.
  2. best: Barack Obama You are 8% economic right You are equally social-liberal as social-conservative You have a substantive agreement of 76% worst: Fred Thompson You are 41% economic left You are 80% more progressive You have a substantive agreement of 36%
  3. You don't get a good basketball team by only having one good player. It helps, but it doesn't mean a damn thing.
  4. Being Republican or Democrat isn't based on whether or not you want to keep your money - it's based on what government you want. Of course, it's a relatively moot point now, with the size of the government now, so it's basically a big government vs. a bigger government. You want a smaller government? Pay for everything yourself. You want a bigger government? Pay the government to take care of it for you. That's really how simple it is, for everything concerning the government except for a couple of institutions.
  5. The only problem for Pryor and going to Michigan is that he also wants to play basketball. And UM basketball is terrible.
  6. When you really think about it, winning the rivalry is all that matters. And we've done that, so frankly now I don't give a damn about the bowl outcomes.
  7. Ummm....Southeastern Louisiana? Toledo? Florida International? Baylor? Seriously.
  8. GO BUCKS!!! Kansas had just about the 10th weakest schedule this year, they don't deserve anything.
  9. OSU tops N'western. Not a terrible game, though we handled the ball atrociously.
  10. I am almost certain Mikael uses an Electro II. If that helps.
  11. They are spectacular live. Imagine a good live show. Then multiply it by 1000x, with tons of balloons stringers, confetti, and more. They really like to get the crowd into it and it shows when the crowd does get into it. I saw them almost two years ago, August 2006.
  12. Hillary?!? That doesn't make sense. I don't really like what Hillary brings to the table, personally. edit: and i think more parties would make this a lot easier to work out because frankly i'm not a fan of any of the candidates on both sides...honestly i might submit a blank ballot because this sucks.
  13. it looks super-compressed...and that's just the title screen.
  14. I don't know if this is a good ordering, but it's fair enough, I guess: 1. Bob Dylan - "Love and Theft" 2. Brian Wilson - SMiLE 3. Bruce Springsteen - Devils & Dust 4. Paul McCartney - Chaos & Creation In The Backyard 5. Bob Dylan - Modern Times 6. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 7. Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros - Streetcore 8. Kanye West - Late Registration 9. Iron & Wine - The Creek Drank The Cradle 10. Radiohead - In Rainbows That was too damn hard to cut down. Stuff I had to cut, but I really wanted to put on the list: 11. Andrew Bird - & The Mysterious Production o
  15. The fact that virtually all the teams in the BCS bowls looked terrible at one time or another didn't (and doesn't, for the last game coming up) help the BCS pick good matchups either. Of course, it could be that now the BCS is utterly worthless.
  16. HD, but only because the trend that any format that Sony supports in their game systems will eventually fail. I still prefer the regular DVD...cheaper.
  17. It is curious that WVU is leading at the half.
  18. The brand is probably Ovation...not a fan of their stuff but I know one when I see one...look at the higher-end models, I would guess. And it's a 12-string, if that helps.
  19. Gotta root for the Big 10. Excellent job, UM (well, not so much mr. Hart, but sure). Go Illini!
  20. Well, I'm an honest to God born-and-bred gamer. I've been gaming pretty much my entire conscious life (and a Nintendo-only player to boot), starting from Super Mario World on SNES, progressing to N64 with stuff like Ocarina of Time, and through Gamecube with stuff like Wind Waker, and now to the Wii, which has had a very strong year, with titles like Twilight Princess (it's been a little over a year since this release but whatever) and now Super Mario Galaxy...and of course, their line of handhelds alongside it (Game Boys, DS). I've found that the more gaming experience one has, the easier i
