Who's gonna be there? I'll be third row, center. ---------------- Um, hypothetically, if one were to shout a request for ELT, would you yell EE-ELL-TEE, or "every little thing"?

Well damn, I was way off! I don't know where I got that idea. Thanks!

I think I heard someone mention at the beginning of this tour that they didn't see any merch. Just wanted to know if that was true. Are there any prints or anything for sale besides the typical fare (Adult Head, etc) Thanks!

that has to be the best setlist thus far. pecan pie, NM, ELT, RTMB, Acuff and gun??? I can only hope for a setlist half this stunning in Charlottesville.

I just applied to NYU, and, of all my hopes and fears of college, careers, etc, the ONE thing that bothers me above all is that, if I get accepted into NYU and attend, It'll be so hard to get to see Wilco.

What a great performance, but now I know what you're talking about. Did those people not graduate from the first grade? Do they not know what "shhhhh" means? -
as did i!! yessssssssssssssssssssss

If you were right (being that they came to Richmond), that would solve all my problems, ergo I wouldn't spend that much money on wilco tickets.

This past March, I drove 3.5 hours to Chapel Hill for the opening night. So, factor in that gas money, the money for the poster I bought ($25), food, and the fact that I spent $390 for four tickets. It was more than worth it.

Has anyone recieved their tickets yet for the jan 31 Charlotteville date? I saw one up on ebay, but I havn't recieved it yet!

Q: [in] what does Scott McCaughey play? A: The Minus 5 and R.E.M.

Damn, that really is claustrophobic

Has anyone noticed that you can't play this sound too loud? Literally, if you crank the first 2 or so minutes of this song up to the max, it still isn't loud. It's so beautiful. By the way, is anybody signed on to record this FOR SURE? Because I gotta have this.

This is gettin' played at my funeral. I don't even believe in god.

I once paid $390 for four tickets. My buddy and I went (the Chapel Hill opening night - March 5th) and I was going to scalp off the last 2. However, thanks to you guys, I couldn't bear to sell them over the price.

Stardog is such a negative nancy.

It's called "I'm Going Away" by Elizabeth Cotten. You should check her out on wikipedia, she's a really interesting woman. It's on her album Shaking Sugaree EDIT ---------------- It's called Shake Sugaree. Looks like all this Wilco is more deep-seated in my brain than I previously thought.

I tried all this..(particularly flac frontend) but it says that flac.exe is missing...and also, how do i transfer to .wav then to mp3? im missing the first step. I'm so hopelessly confused. I yearn for .zips

I'm a bit reluctant to mess with foobar, I hear it takes forever to tweak...I'm just looking for a .zip with the mp3s for now..

HEllo! While trying to convert the .FLAC files to mp3 files, I downloaded some virus-laden shareware conversion software, and my computer is a complete bungle. I speak to you all on my girlfriend's computer. I was wondering, though, since I spent all this time and messed up a computer in the process, if anyone would be willing to PM/Post a .zip of the mp3s. Its sort of asking a lot, but I'd really appreciate it. Im trying to get the show for her on CD. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much

I've driven roughly 1000 miles to see Wilco/Tweedy 3 times. This time was so unbelievably worth it. I mean, I've had my face rocked off twice by Wilco, but nothing came close to this. I had a nice lawn view of the opening act with my girlfriend, and, after the opener's set concluded, I walked around a bit and noticed the orch. pit was somewhat empty. I mosied on down there and we got some beautiful seats on that big concrete slab in front of the stage, putting me roughly 2-3 feet right of center and 10 feet away from the man himself. And honestly, I've never been treated to such a performanc

I'll be there...does anyone know yet if GA/Lawn tickets are allowed in the orch. pit? I just know i'm gonna get the urge to dance.
