  1. haha, i work at a theater and we have two giant tvs in our lobby, and i have to put up with that video every 10 minutes.
  2. you're all wrong. wrong wrong wrong. sweet jane by the velvet underground is the perfect pop song.
  3. i have the perfect picture for this, but i know better than to post it on a public forum.
  4. i blame gene simmons for the death of the music biz.
  5. i took it as more of a rhetorical question.
  6. this is a week old, but i still felt like it needed to be posted. seinfeld is pretty much the only reason i watch tv, and i love jerry... but jesus, his ego is just ridiculous.
  7. john pinette is the man. hands down.
  8. i watched the trailer again and it looks enjoyable. i'll check it out soon. i've been in the mood for a good comedy. i've been watching too many 2+ hour films here lately and my brain is fried. (especially after apocalypse now (thank god it wasn't redux)) i enjoyed the departed more than i'll let off. people ask me and i'm like "no, fuck the departed. infernal affairs 4 lyfe." but i enjoyed it. ESPECIALLY the ending. i'm glad scorsese added that in. that was my favorite part about it. my biggest complaint with the departed was the language. don't get me wrong, profanity is an art form. and
  9. i grew up watching nothing but reruns of the monkees and i was more upset when i found out the monkees were fake than when i found out was.
  10. speaking of new movies, i'll probably volunteer to work (i work at a movie theater) on thanksgiving day just so i can see the indiana jones 4 trailer... and i'll probably get fired from watching it all day instead of working.
  11. i've never even considered going to an elvis costello show because i knew he wouldn't play any MAIT stuff. and i mean, i love his new stuff, but MAIT is the only stuff i would want to hear live. solace, +1
  12. i try wayyyyyyyy too hard to be humphrey bogart. i mean, imagine play it again, sam... times 10. i seriously can't drive without wearing my fedora, i mean i absolutely refuse to. the girl sitting behind me at the theater the weekend before last asked me to take it off because she couldn't see. it hurt to do, but i took it off since she asked nicely. i've had pneumonia for the past week, and when i went to the doctor last week he walked in the door and looked directly at my fedora, then at my pajama bottoms and just laughed. and to make it worse, i'm made up of about 50% bogie and 50
  13. the first time i watched that i was maybe 14 at the most and had absolutely no clue what was going on and absolutely hated it. but for some reason, i was drawn back to watching it again and again and again and i've grown to absolutely love it. is hot fuzz worth checking out? i didn't hate sean of the dead, but i didn't love it. so i was skeptical about hot fuzz. someone convince me!
  14. i think my quote is gonna be "i wouldn't want to belong to any club that would have someone like me as a member". p.s. kalle and katie, i still find it amusing that our birthdays are so close.
