i've seen curtains move in an empty building when the window was closed on a day with no wind. people told me that building was haunted but i never believed them.. till then. also our office is literally 100m away from the old melbourne jail (where ned kelly was hung).. i'm looking it right now... i just remembered another form of punishment i got when i was little. my mum was changing my nappys and i was throwing a tantrum while she was doing it. so she gets the safety pin and jabs me on the arse cheek. it wasnt a small prick, but a good deep stab. lucky i was a fat baby, so i was well insulated it sure shut me up though

its also a cultural thing. being of macedonian background, when i made trouble as a little kid, my folks would give me a good wallop over the arse i dont have kids yet but when i do, i'm looking forward to giving them the same treatment

i used to be sacred of them years ago. back in 1988, we had a plague of them here. the weather conditions turned out perfect for them to come out. it was on the news and everything. what happened to me was, i was about to leave the house to go to school. 3 of the little fuckers jumped out of my shoe onto me as i put my foot in it. so, for a while i couldnt stand them. we call them crickets here - the ones that can jump. i still smash them to this day when i see one, but my heart doesnt start racing when i see one anymore

i watch the extras more than the movie. so, where are all the outtakes of the solo tweedy performances on disk 2?. hesitating beauty (from memory) is on volume 30 of jesse's dvds, but i'm sure the whole would have been filmed
