  3. nah, dont worry about it... as mentioned above, the comments are out there on shows anyway. in one of the snippets i poisted above, even jeff admitted that he can see a project like this coming

sorry for the delay... just saw the post again. this is what i do. it might be the same as jeff but it sounds ok. first, COPY AND PASTE THIS INTO WORD AND CHANGE IT COURIER 12 POINT sixe to see it aligned properly..... the chord shapes over the lyric are here... then basically strum to the beat until the next chord. the chorus is as everyone else has mentioned.... just repeat the pattern for other verses lemme know if it makes sense E----2--2---0---2---3--2-----2--------3--------- B----3--3---3---3---3--3-----3--------3--------- G----2--2---2---2---0--0-----0--------0--------- D--
  6. just some local aussie band pub gigs for (james reyne, mental as anything and hoodoo gurus)... bridget, enjoy bob dylan - he should bust out the new songs for ya on this tour
  7. good luck with it... i've had insomnia before and it aint good
  8. on the first warm/hot day after the winter, i notice that fashion designers seems to make females' skirts/shorts shorter than that of the year before and i aint complaining - especially when i'm wearing my aviator glasses
  9. i think whole pot-smoking story is on the 2003 one and the 2005 has the "give it up for dash 7!" rant
  10. the detroit show from oct 5th, 2001 has him giving a physics lecture on how the sound waves from the talkers at the back travel straight to him. the kingpin rant is from april 13, 1997 those late 2004 shows would have the president bush rants before christ for president the best banter usually comes from his solo shows. there was the letter from germany banter during one of those jun 2002 shows.. i'll hunt that one down soon
  11. leroy's last shows were those october 2003 ones
  12. thats the Kingpin i mentioned above from shepperds bush from 1997 anyone got it or should i post it tonight when i get home?
  13. the chorus line, then that little riff. his little riffs also add to the songs. Long way back is another that has a poignant riff after the chorus
  14. dont forget the underrated stuff on I cant stand still. Lilah, you better hang up, nobodys business and the unclouded day. heart of the matter little tin god new york minute you cant make love sunset strip everything is different now workin it oh and everybody knows ... all classics
  15. its a mild, sunny afternoon. just got home from the hellhole and going through a few of these:
  16. seeing the one on lidsay buckingham reminded me.. am i on the only don henley fan here?. i'm referring to his solo career after the eagles' split. there hve only been 4 albums between 1982 and 2000 but they're packing with catchy tunes that are done with an excellent voice. i think his voice got a lot better in the 80s once it lost the rasp of his eagles input. some tunes are over-produced, but hey - it was the 80s we all secretly love the boys summer (right?) but there are a lot of other classic tunes during his solo career. even bob dylan decided to cover End of the innocence in late 200
  17. a pretty big pond, eh? I'm listening to Tampa Red at the mo'.... just got a home-made compilation disk given to me.
  18. 2 more: i wanna be your dog long cut as for gun, i think the tune has/had top 40 material. i dont know how popular the band was in the states during that time, but it as single potential side with Gun, i was listening to it in the office at low volume a few weeks back and one guy in there asks me "is that the foo fighters?"
  19. hmm, some of the reviews arent too favourable http://www.topshareware.com/reviews/43301-1/soundtaxi.htm
  20. no, they were encoded from an audio tape (which is now lost) a long time ago. the guy put a password on them and eventually forgot what it was
  21. i'd also love to see some of these return in wilco shows. we been had was a regular till the end of the YHF tour and New madrid is the only one that shows up these days. Gun and We been had would make nice rockers in the encore section nice to see he still busts them out during the solo shows
