does he smell like coffee? yay babies!

i like those ogio ones. I might look into those. I think that she needs something she can carry on her back, just not on her shoulder, but it is has to be cool enough for her to actually use. I have sent out some feelers at the actual school (cahtztee sr works there) to see what the cool kids are using to drag their stuff around... every year for her birthday i get her the coolest sneakers, or outfit, and this year i want to get her the best bag EVA!

ok, so cahtzee jr is going to be a freshman at one of the most competitive prep schools in the country and she'll be a day student so she won't have a room to go back to between classes. She has a locker (somewhere) but she'll probably carry a lot of her books with her. I know my mother will buy her one of those goofy rolling back packs but she's counting on her auntie j to get her a stylin' sweet bag, i just am not sure a messenger bag will hold all the things she needs to carry. So, now that you know all that--back pack or messenger bag, or a perhaps one of those one strap across the ch

blond is not a race. it is a disability.

why does THAT girl, and porno girl mom look so much alike?
-
what's up with the blond girl (the one who worked for Dylan) spending the whole episode looking confused, vapid and lost?

So, cahtzee jr is off to prep school this year and needs a new way to carry books. I'm going to buy her a back to school bag, but the question is this: knapsacks? or messenger bag? I know that in general, messenger bags are far hipper than knapsacks, and i'm going to assume that this is the case at prep school. So i'm thinking a cool timbuk2 messenger bag. Thoughts?

holy shit. 21-4?!!

Vino had to know that winning the TT yesterday would cost him dearly today. Did he even finish on time, i hope? The VS channel switched off to something dumb before everyone was in. Regardless of who is/was doing drugs and who isn't/wasn't i think the clear lack of a patron on this tour is showing. Certainly its anyone's race, but there was always something about the way Armstrong just ran the show, pulled back escapees, chased others down...I do miss him. But it doesn't make le tour any less fun to watch!

Top Ten Things To Send To College With My Daughter
jenbobblehead replied to trestle's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
i also agree on the following: Pepper Spray (you can order it online and i'm not sure i'd get the keychain size--its very small) Mattress topper area rug and add if she doesn't have one: a pay as you go cell phone, or one with prepaid minutes. I went to school before the era of cell phones and sometimes it really helped to call some friends and check in at home without having to call collect. a few travel mugs for coffee some baggies for hustling drygoods out of the cafe her own mini fridge and if she has a roommate: ear plugs and and eye pillow and a white noise generator (or do what i do -
good news, people. USPS delivered it to the second floor while we were at the baseball game.

my book does not say "out for delivery" with UPS. Did anyone else not get theirs?

From Velonews.com T-Mobile rider Patrik Sinkewitz reacted in amazement on Wednesday after he was informed he had failed a doping test as he prepared for the tour de France last month. The German Cycling Federation (BDR) announced on Wednesday that the 26-year old's A sample, taken on June 8, had a raised testosterone level and he must now decide if his B sample will be tested. The up and coming rider has been suspended by his team who say that if the B sample confirms the first test then he will be sacked. Sinkewitz was forced to pull out of the Tour de France after suffering a brok

i was SO CLOSE to doing it today but arsonists (no kidding) burned down the school i've been trying to save. It is in my bag, with your address--it is going in the mail tomorrow.

I disagree. all teams have shitty fans regardless of their record. to say that one team over another has awfuller fans i think is false. Unless you're talking about Philly Phans.

Well, some numbers pusher at ESPN or fox sports would probably disagree with you. and the yankees struggling is actually news in sports. The biggest payroll in baseball can't get it done? You don't think that's news?

When Cleveland fans can FILL an away stadium then ESPN will cover them more. Granted the Orioles suck, but when i go to a Os/Sox game at Camden the place is full (and by full i would say at least 3/4ths full) of RED SOX FANS. Even out at a game in Oakland two weeks ago, where the As were playing Seattle, there were folks wearing red sox hats. I watch games on TV and when the camera pans the crowd, no matter where the sox are playing, the seats are full of red sox fans. Wherever I travel there are folks in red sox gear in restaurants, airports, on the street. I'm sure i see it more because i'm

at the doctors office yesterday was the Sports Illustrated with Grady on the cover and man is he cute!

so i'm still waiting to hear why this show is so terrific. Ninjas and I both cannot get thru an episode and we LOVE tv and wacky tv at that. I feel like we're somehow vitamin deficient and that's why we can't get this thing.
