  1. Here's my raw audio; link expires in five days-ish: https://we.tl/t-N1eHYyJdcg
  2. Yup, he got a few things wrong: i submitted a comment (under review) about the feedback during first two songs & the reason behind the "Nels' solos knock 'em over" comment (EMTs led a dude out). Good thing i decided to get food instead of booze during opener (snuck a bunch of tequila in).
  3. Glide Magazine review w/ embedded vids of Meant, Soldier Child & Evicted "Wilco Opens Pristine New Scottsdale Civic Center Amphitheater With Strong New Album ‘Cousin’ Cuts - by Shane Handler In a long list of probable bands, there is probably no safer choice than Wilco to open a new concert venue. They don’t attract a wild drinking fanbase, their lyrics are relatively curse-free and the Chicago band can knock over the casual listener with catchy melodies. So what if they are “dad rock”? They have earned the right to play wherever they choose. However, this time around they
  4. I agree w/ everything posted above but i can not stress how horrid the firework music production was. Whatever happened to Jimi Hendrix's SSB? There were no segues between the five second jingo-istc song selections, just cut out at the wrong beat & jarringly into the next boot-in-your-ass post-911 redneck ballads; there will never be a worse Fourth of July soundtrack. Hearing that "Ashes" was cut due to poor stage management is that much more painful for it. But i still had a blast! 5. 184's i assume!?!? If i roll i'll be MG300's
  6. Having never seen the band on a two-night run i wonder if there are certain settings that are more auspicious, i.e.: "Never miss the first/second night of an X night run" or 'Their energy is always higher in their home town on the first/second night". Any thoughts?
  7. Namaste Y'all, i'm trying to decide if i will blow the family off for a night [or two ] and see Wilco. I was wondering how many tapers were going to be there. I assume it is a tape-from-yer-seat kinda deal: anyone hear otherwise? Balcony vs. Orchestra RE: acoustics? thanks and perhaps i'll see ya there! richard from flagstaff
  8. You are quite welcome Hellman! Enjoy and spread it around near and far: if you have capability to share it on etree that'd be thanks enough...
  9. Thanks Jas! I hope y'all enjoy this tasty lil morsel
  10. Namaste Y'all, Big thanks to JAS for completing the transfer. My pace is so analog it ain't funny: in my world two weeks is lightining-fast Thanks to those in attendance who ran (((defense))) for my gear and big up to Wilco for being so damn cool with this lil taping obsession and thanks to Courtney for the ticket! enjoy! richard from flagstaff
  11. This taper could not agree more: THANK YOU WILCO!
  12. I hereby cast my (((biased))) vote for 10-13-06 San Antonio. Cuz i was there and had a great time I've only seen three Wilco shows but this one went neck and neck with the Flagstaff 04-27-05 gig. I can't pick a fav recording b/n FLG and SA+ both pretty hot. p.s. my audience recording from FLG is different from the one that was edited onto the video...
  13. Hey Now jas, you've got a message...
  14. "In any given situation there is always going to be more dumb people than smart people. We ain't many, we ain't many..." Ken Kesey 10/31/91 during Dark Star Well, i feel compelled to toss my two rusted cents in here... Sack up and ask someone to shut up if you are hurt by their behaviour. Just don't expect that behaviour to change. In fact, you may bet on it escalating! If they are drunk and obnoxious do you really think that they will all of a sudden sober up and take your rational position? I have friends who print out cards that say "Your being an asshole. Please be a little m
  15. Namaste Y'all, i transfered half the dat last night and will finish the rest tonight. Discs'll go out to kind folk that can upload the show this weekend and hopefully in a week or so it'll be available as a torrent. take care and happy trails, richard from flagstaff
  16. From what i read that sounds like a justified reaction especially when you consider that security was nowhere to be found.
  17. I concur that it most likely was one of the house cameras for the cc feed. Though you could have snuck a horse into the venue if the (((search))) they conducted on my audio-gear bag was indicative of how thourough they looked into folks' bags...
  18. Microtech Gefell M300's [ORTF ~ FOB] > Lunatec V2 > M1@48khz plus i ran AKG CK 98 [DIN] > V2 with MG300 >V2 into SMP IV > MDR it'll turn up soon Two gentlemen were running (((stealth))): Sonic Studios DSM-VI > M1 and DPA > iRiver The Sonics were clamped onto my stand @ 8' and the DPA's owner was three feet up and to stage left. If you're keeping score
