Yup on the bridges.

Oh but of course. Didn't they used to joke about a zombie season? As far as what you said CDM, I totally bought into that LA Times piece about Locke instigating his "leadership". I figure that if he isn't the true new leader, he's gonna burn as the fake one. Plus, what with Alpert beginning to doubt Locke's role as leader, I don't think he's gonna last long. He hasn't really ever succeeded with anything before, so I don't see him doing so now. Unless Jacob doesn't exist and it is all an elaborate plan to put down Ben, etc. I saw something else that said that Locke instigated the belief in "J

That was gonna be my guess. Really would tie together some of the overall themes of the show pretty nicely.

I'm thinking Locke is going to fail as "leader" just as he has failed at most everything else. Since he isn't the true new leader, I wonder who is?

Or you can manually edit some of the apple loops, add fills here, slight differences there...I especially found it important to change the velocity or volume (can't remember what it is called) of each drum hit. I was just messing around with some today in fact.

Interesting thoughts about Locke as "leader"

Phoenix - Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (out 5/25/09)

Got my tickets for the Wiltern show...that's gonna be a good week, Wilco starting off strong followed by Phoenix finishing it up. -
This video should explain everything (Possibly NSFW if you speak spanish)

Yeah it seemed to me that he knew that

Pitchfork isn't all bad...the availability of tour dates as well as some of the more "breaking" news stuff is pretty key. That isn't to say that they don't subscribe to and propagate the current hipster trends. Here in Santa Barbara, hipsters definitely ride fixies. I don't really understand fixed gears.

I REALLY dig the second song and the last song. I love it when the they kick the Cursive in.

So I did a search, but I could have easily missed it since something like this can go by different names...I know we have the saddest songs thread, but this is more general than that. What are the songs that pull at your heartstrings? Which ones incite some strong emotional response from you? Here's two: On and On and On by the Wilco Sweet Thing by Van Morrison What else you got?

Usually not, but back in September I saw Liam Finn live at the echoplex in LA by myself. And that was easily the best the show I've ever been to.

Which Bands have you seen the most live?
stickman replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
I haven't seen too many bands more than once. Plus I'm only 21 so... Band of Horses - 4 (Going to the fifth one in April) Kings of Leon - 3 (I haven't seen them in probably three years though) That's about it. -
If I were a betting man....

I really dig nearly all of Yann Tierson's work. Especially the Good Bye Lenin! soundtrack.

Lostpedia says he was born in the early 1960s and let's say he was about 12 when he came to the island, so that would put him arriving there at roughly 1974-1976. Definitely within that period. Good point.

I think there is a plugin that allows you to customize the search box to certain websites...I can't remember if I'm making that up or not, but I'm pretty sure that the capability is out there. The biggest thing that I'm a fan of that Safari has going for it is the search feature. It's just downright cool.

It'll be my fifth show at the Santa Cruz one, haven't seen them in over a year though so I'm excited.

Woah. Sounds soo good. Eddie sounds so much more...real I guess, I don't know.

I'm thinking maybe the "new" guy that Locke opened up to was planted on the plane by Charles Widmore. And also, I agree that Ben needed to kill Locke, I think he was genuine when he said he was going to miss him and was cold during the actual killing because that was the only way he would be able to do it. Without any emotion. Does that make sense? I think Ben is supremely aware of what needs to happen in order for everything to work out ie them getting back to the island. I bet he would be a bitch to play chess with.
