Well dispute being over crowded, I thought mass Moca handled things really well
-
Left around 6:30 out of pure exhaustion. Nothing really excited me much on Sunday. I think they should do a better job of expanding the acts to Sunday. It was the least crowded of all 3 days, so I kinda get why. And how amazing was the Phoenix exhibit?!

It seemed pretty obvious that both sets were aimed at diehard fans , that may have seen wilco multiple times. In fact I feel it's very possible that most of these songs were requested, just like the night beforehand

Ha ha ha...that is me with the yellow shirt and the green hat right in front of you in that video!! Did you get a video of will you wear my coat? My wife fell in love with that song. Instant fan I'm the guy in front of you with the green hat and yellow shirt

Great set, lots of summerteeth, a little disappointed with the lack of GIB songs and too few YHF songs. The Yo la Tengo set was absolutely amazing. The Foxygen set brought a bit of old school rockstar chaos to the show. Lots of fun. Anyone else see the "pop up"'performance of Mark Mulachy and Pat Sansone inside the museum...absolutely beautiful. Show was really crowded. I heard more then a few people complain about it (especially people that have been to solid sounds in the past) Indoor bathrooms completely flooded by the end of the night. I hope Mass Moca lowers the amount of ticket hol

I missed the encore out of exhaustion...hope there is a sound board recording

Having so much fun. Was able to find street parking as well. The close lots were all full before 5 pm

leaving on a jet plane on Friday at 6:30 am! out of FLL. Will be stopping in Baltimore, before an hour flight over to Albany. Touchdown scheduled for 10:59!! Can't wait to drive through the mountains.

pretty sure his friend meant he made $75 for the whole weekend...$75 a day to park? Yeah.... No.
-
$75? LOL.
-
I would MAYBE pay $10 a day for parking..if I wanted to find a spot that was super walkable to the museum.
-
also $50 a day for parking seems highly unreasonable considering all the free parking/shuttle options avialable. Just saying.
-
looks like the parking map is up...anyone have suggestions on the best parking area?
-
As I said in the other thread, I really hope we get a soundboard of both SS nights...would be a cool thank you present for all the festival attendees.
-
can't belive it's only a week away!! super excited!!
-
so it sounds from that article that despite the show selling out, it will still be a relatively "small" affair. I would imagine the museum doesn't want crowd control problems and has limited the attendance allowance.
-
If I've learned anything over the years its that the weather is unpredictable, and you shouldn't rely on weather reports, especially a week out. Crossing my fingers.

Ugh...Im sitting in FL, where i's been raining constanly since early April. Was hoping for a humidty /rain free weekend for once. Hope this changes.
-
wow..so Roadrunner and Marquee Moon look like possibilities. AWESOME. I hope they do a soundboard recording of this show!!!
-
yeah, I was actually hoping for a more low key festival experience. It's part of the reason I decided I wanted to go. Im pretty spoiled in South Florida as the bands I like aren't very popular and rarely sell out. Ive been to 5 Wilco shows and sat near or at the front of the stage without much hassle for all of them. Im not expecting to get that close at a Wilco event like this, but I don't really want to fell like a sardine either.

it looks like they are close to selling out of 3 day tickets. Is this the first year they sold out?
-
I was hoping for some new songs at Solid Sound, but it seems (based on that interview) that nothing is "ready" yet. Oh well. At least we will have a whole night of covers and rarities.

we are getting close!! Can't wait!
