just want to say that the third golden ticket contest winner is super cute.

So, how large is Courtyard C..as I really want to see the Yo La Tengo live soundtrack...but I do not want to leave Wilco early Friday to get a good spot. Weird that they would do it AFTER Wilco played...I was hoping it would be the first part of the set. Can't wait for White Denim, Yo La (both days), Foxyen, and of course Wilco. Sunday seems a lot more crowded then I was expecting. So does this mean that Wilco won't do Encores past those times?

I really want to see the Yo La Tengo Soundtacked movie...hopefully it won't be TOO crazy. I would imagine Saturday will be the only day thats REALLY packed.

Hey guys a few questions for folks that have been to this fest...this is my first year going, so I wanted to get a better idea of how it works. 1. Are you able to come and go as you please during the event? Or is their no re-entry? 2. How crowded does the event typically get? I would imagine its not a huge area so they would need to limit the amount of tickets..it doesn't seem like the event is sold out at this time. Will I need to "camp out" in front of the main stage for more then an hour to get a decent view? 3. Is it difficult to see the art exhibits with all the people? 5. Are there any

yeah I read that too. I really hope they don't cancel their US dates as well. I was really looking forward to seeing them. Apprantly that had an on-stage meltdown at SXSW...condisering how young they are, the amount they are touring, and how quickly they became popular, I bet it's pretty overwhelming. Still, pretty sure it's my favorite new album so far this year.

I had read an article about how Jeff hates performing new songs in front of an audience before he's finished recording them. Something about how it's hard for him to serperate the audience reaction to the quiet studio. I saw them play Walken the summer before Sky BLue Sky came out, I wonder if he still feels that way, or if any songs are recorded at this point. It seems they would have to be if they want to release an album this year..right?

SO can anyone recommend great breakfest/lunch/dinner places in North Adams? I mean besides eating at the festivel itself, was curious if there are places you reccommend (and im referring to non-chain/fast food stuff).

so for those of you following along at home, I was able to work out a way to leave on Monday instead of Sunday...so yeah, I'll be able to experience the entire weekend!! yippie. Already changed airline (no fees - thanks SouthWest!)...and my hotel was available for the extra night too.

There is a small chance I can still go. If my wife can find away to make it work ...once she knows we are even going.. My SW flight has no change fees. So never say never.. Ha ha
