this is really for the better. The band hasn't put out anything extremely substantial in quite a while. I am sure we will see a reunion tour sometime down the road. It's not like they left on bad terms.

The vinyl version is longer...I have no idea why they cut it on the CD. Stuff like that makes me crazy

(in my dreams)...

I grabbed the deluxe edition from a private torrent site. You can find it if you look hard enough. I will be picking up the vinyl on release day, but I'm impatient and could not wait

The sound effects during Capitol City remind me a lot of The Beatles, which is only a good thing. I think you have to step back from the song to really enjoy it. It's not meant to be taken really seriously. I know this has been said, but this is definitely their most Beatles influenced album to date. Sunthoathe is another one.

after closer listen, I can hear the difference in Black Moon, but it really doesnt change the song that much, and I think the orchestration adds a lot to that song on the album cut. Kinda annoyed it's even on the Deluxe Cd instead of the Vinyl bonus track. The two new songs are good, but I can't believe any of you would want to replace anything on the album. After several listens I truly feel their isnt a weak song on the album. I also think that Mid-Bar is almost too pessimistic and insincere compared to the rest of the album, I can see why it was left off. The 7 min jam session that is "Ros

In retrospect I wish they would have removed Black Moon alt version and included the track From the Vinyl

Was kind of hoping for a more rocking version of Black Moon...not sure what the difference is here. I noticed it's about 2 seconds shorter, and the delivery is a little different maybe? Kind of a throw away bonus track.

Am I wrong in thinking that this is the first instrumental Wilco track? It's a cool little jam, but I prefer my Wilco songs with lyrics. Still cool extras, I await to hear the final track from the vinyl/iTunes edition
