Agreed, we New England fans have learned over the years...it's not over until it's REALLY OVER! I was still holding my breath through MOST of the 8th inning...because ANYTHING is possible I am impressed with the Indians and I look forward to seeing the Rockies. I'm pretty sure I've NEVER seen them play a game...ever Also, I have to tell you...I woke my 11 yr old daughter up to tell her who won and she replies "It's no big deal, we've done it before"...lol Yup, twice in her lifetime and four times in mine. I told her when she gets a little older, I'll explain the "big deal" to her

I never watch the show but a friend of mine called me to say they just mentioned a "Wilco CD". So I switched over...turns out it was a pivotal part of the plot!!! In hopes of maybe hearing something, I almost cried when someone broke the CD. But never fear, at the end I heard a cpl of notes...and was like "No WAY!!!" They played 'Passenger Side' I was soooooooooo excited I believe I heard Neil Patrick Harris was spotted at a Wilco concert once, yes?!? I'm assuming he had some influence on this. And I'm pretty sure I saw the former Winnie Cooper as a minor character for this

So today I witnessed a 1st and I couldn't be happier!!! My very good friend of 20 years legally married his boyfriend. I don't think I could ever get across to you all what wonderful, amazing, generous, loving, incredible men these two are individually. Together...overwhelming!!! This experience was without a doubt the most moving wedding I've ever attended. I'm pretty sure I have never seen either of these men cry before this morning. Today, no one could hold back. Their mothers were a mess. Those that attended..listening to them try & speak their vows...you just have no heart if yo

Too funny!!! I was like "Hey, look NINE replies while I was away!!!"...*sigh* No biggie...whatever gets ppl talking works for me And, I did forget to mention...idk how I did it, 'cuz it's absolutely a-ma-zing to me...but I also played LMLYFM. It's weird, because when I first got the album it was one of the few I skipped here & there. Now I can't listen to it without listening to that one and sometimes twice

Sooo, hard as it is to believe...I've never gotten a chance to share Wilco with my best friend. She lives in Ohio. So she came to visit for a cpl days this week and I played some of SBS for her. She dug it so much, she picked up a copy for herself before she left town. She listened to it in full twice on the way home. I am SOOO thrilled I played for her: Walken (as it my daughters' fave and I LUV the coda, as my girls do as well) Please Be Patient With Me (special to me and made another good friend of mine cry as she was going thru a tough time w/ her hubby) Either Way (started everyday

I that song...when I was 1st beginning my career in banking, the woman who I idolized told me it was her Prom Theme. So from then on, I've always thought of her. I loved it so much, I had it on my "To Play" list at my wedding (what a waste...lol) just for her and my banking buddies
