if stating the obvious makes me unpopular on here.................so be it.............but regardless I am entitled to say his album Easy Tiger is a blatant rip off of Gram Parsons as my opinion..............it is quite stupid that people would rather look at a posting style(which will never change and has been this way for over 10 years)..............than the actual content of the post.............which is quite valid no matter your opinion of Ryan Adams.............

my comments were very logically based with my knowledge of both Gram Parsons and this album after a few listens................I am not the only one who thinks this...............just because you got some hang up on this guy and cannot see that it is a poor rip off of an original...............I cannot help you..............you are too far gone..................it was just an analysis of the album.............in case you are too ignorant to understand..................that means everyone can post their opinion of an album in a thread...........even ones that do not agree or like it............

and I am saying this artist who cannot choose the style of music he would like to be categorized as with his chamelion assortment of albums...............should have left 70's country off his gimmick to do list of albums...............Gram deserves better.............Emmy H did half of the songs with Gram originally btw..............so the fact she is singing them again is hardly the same as what Ryan A does...........

1st if you had listened to them we would not be having this arguement about the blatant rip off easy tiger is......................2nd if he is no one trick pony...............then does he steal other's styles so blatant as he did Gram's?..............probably not something I would want to brag on his behalf about...............

thought I would throw that in there for some humor................no...........I had not heard him and could not really comment on his new album until this weekend...............and I hate to see artists rob styles so blatantly as he did here..............Gram P does not deserve that and Adams does not deserve credit on this album by being a thief...........just my opinion.............listen to a little Gram or Flying Burrito Brothers and you will never listen to Easy Tiger again..........I promise.............

Listened to it this weekend for the first time over at a friend's house. ................I gotta say he is nothing more than a really bad Gram Parsons rip off.....................Only difference is................ Gram was a genius and was doing this 30 years ago as an original..................He should go back to "Summer of 69'" imo.............. and stay away from trying to sound like icons...............just my opinion as a rounded music fan.

I always thought his single..........."everything I do I do it for you," was amazing..............good to see he is still pumping out great tunes..........."summer of 69" is tough too.......... I thought it was funny...........

Meg is gorgeous to watch..................

as a 30 something guy...............I only put Pearl Jam higher than Wilco...............to much history with PJ and the fact I have seen them 15 times live..............but being #2 on my music list is like being #1 on most.............

as a chi-town native and fan of The Smashing Pumpkins...............I went into this one knowing it would not be Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness good...............but that they were back with their sound was important to me.............songs one through 5 are money and great................and I got the target version so I got the acoustic strummed Zeitgeist as my bonus track.............which is also solid.............there are a few weak songs sure..............but the fact that they resemble the Machina days after being gone for 7 is enough for me..............I rea

This album has really grown on me.................it is everything the other albums before were all mixed up into one...........the blues of De Stijl................the rocking of Elephant...............the country sound of White Blood Cells..............the garage sound of The White Stripes and the strange insturment choices of Get Behind Me Satan...............it is their best album imo...............love Effect and Cause and Rag and Bone...........great stuff.......

For someone to so write off recovering addicts like it is something they do for attention as this original poster did...............is completely uncalled for.............an addict will always be an addict...........and maybe through talking and their music it allows them to continually fight off temptation and other demons..........it is a lifelong process.............one in which the fellow man should always show compassion!

Big Wilco fan and I was originally from Chicago..........have since moved elsewhere..........anyway..........the first time I heard this album I was kind of torn...........now after about 75 listens a few things stick out..............this is not their best but it is a very straight forward album as far as sound and lyrics...............something I think they needed to make at this time...........there is not a bad song on it imo and is very easy to listen to start to finish..............I give it 4.5/5 stars and my favorite song by far is "What Light?"...............something about it gets me
