Pocahontas & myself are thinking that we'll prime the pump at the Upland Brewery, if anyone wants to hang there pre-show. Very good selection of in-house beers - their Dragonfly IPA is especially nice.
Ooooh, will they care if I bring my 19 year old brother there?

It's about time some rationality was applied to U.S. policy toward Cuba. Obama should avoid riding in open limousines from now on, though. (Back, and to the left.)

For some reason I thought the brewers and cubs had a series starting at wrigley tonight.
Not til July!

I might be calling into work tomorrow to go to the game. Or maybe I'll fake sick and leave early, since I only work a mile away from Miller Park. (Ooh!)
I've really been aching for baseball, so does anyone have some good suggestions as to how to look/act sick enough to leave?
When I'm going to 1:20 games I get the "blue flu." Maybe you can catch the brew flu?

People who pronounce Loyola as "lie-oh-la" seem to be the same offenders of milk/melk. Bet they're the Wesconsiners, too.

for the sake of full disclosure I never even considered watching Lost until kimcatch convinced me otherwise somewhere (I think) during the third season.if Locke ever dies (for good), maybe I'll change my tune. But until then, this is as good as network TV has ever been.
Absolute Greatness
Sorry I missed your call -- the phone was on silent because I was catching up on tonight's episode since I had class until 8:30 (lame -- who schedules school during Lost?)
Anyway, re: your Locke point... looking back at the story lines, I've noticed that when Locke is strong and confident and believes in something, the show is strong; when he's weak and unsure, the show suffers. Probably not an intended effect (because who wants their show to be weak, ever?) but interesting nonetheless.
