  1. I guess, if I am to make any attempt at this, I should first create a top 10: Tom Zé The Beatles Guided By Voices The Kinks Nick Lowe Brian Eno Yo La Tengo XTC Neutral Milk Hotel Big Star And then, I suppose: PrinceShrimp BoatREMThe RamonesParliamentTelevisionJenny Lewis/Rilo KileyThe RochesRoky EricksonUncle TupeloWilcoBlurTalking Heads©Wireand a bunch more that I will probably remember later. FYI: None of these are in any particular order, and they may all change 5 minutes from now.
  2. This changes day by day. Especially as I discover new artists that I become obsessed with for a while. Are they going to be top ten? No? Just a short term obsession or a long time favorite? I don't know!!! Albums are easier to rank than bands.
  3. Milton Nascimento - Clube da Esquina
  4. Salad Boys - This is Glue Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising
  5. Kiko Dinucci - Cortes Curtos
  6. I just remembered that, and was about to come back and post it. But you beat me to it! How about another Mojo classic: "Debbie Gibson is Pregnant With My 2-Headed Love Child" ? Or then, a non-Mojo song... Jonathan Richman - "Velvet Underground"
  7. The Darts - I Like You But Not Like That
  8. The Minutemen - "Political Song for Michael Jackson to Sing" also... fIREHOSE - "For the Singer of REM" fIREHOSE - "Song for Elizabeth Cotten"
  9. As much as I hate to admit it, because he's so pretty, Brad Pitt is a great actor. One of the best of his generation.
  10. Only just discovered his music through PM, and that album really struck me. This is a gut punch.
