  1. I just got on it to compare plans just now. Easy peasy. Are you lying or just incompetent?
  2. That's all well and good, but there's no ñ in habanero.
  3. The costs to develop a successful drug also include all debts incurred in developing a failure as well. If you're developing 10 drugs, and only one is successful - all the costs associated with the failures are buried into the successful one.
  4. try whole foods. They have it here in chicago.
  5. I'm getting a hankering too. Good thing the Wick Fowler chili kit is available in my local grocery stores. Easy to make. But I may splurge and try one of the ICS recipes I was looking up yesterday. There will be pinto beans in my chili, but only because the Missus requires it. Happy wife, happy life.

  7. Damn. Sad day. He had recovered fully from the esophageal cancer in 2008, only to see it return in the following year. And, Shane was born on Christmas Day, so he'll obviously die on Good Friday.
  8. Jesus. I need full disclosure on your recipe. I go mental for lentils, but not in my chili, man!
  9. Yet every winning recipe on the ICS site you provided (at least for a bowl of red) has tomato sauce in the recipe.
  10. I didn't even mention the raw onions... ew. sloppy.
  11. A bowl of Texas Red is a beautiful thing, but so is a bowl of Cincinnati 5-way.
  12. The Jimmy Durante fans all died and didn't vote for your chili.
  13. I don't really get into cooking personalities, but I enjoy watching the Anthony Bourdain show (though I don't really care for him - the show is usually interesting) and Top Chef. I love the magazine Saveur - it's the only magazine subscription I have. Most of my recipes come from that magazine (and website), plus Italian stuff from Lydia Bastianich and the Silver Spoon cook book. I'm psyched that the temps are cooling down - that means soup season. I love making Chicken Noodle soup, Ribollita, and Posole.
  14. Born to Hula - Queens of the Stone Age - this morning, on my headphones, on my iPhone, on the Brown Line.
  15. I don't even want to think about what a Coney dog would be without raw onions.
