  1. Tried everything. I hate disliking songs by bands I love but i guess it's ineveitable that there are some that don't hit you.
  2. You're right, it changes it a ton, magazine much more than cars though, cars really fits well I think. I also like having both of these songs on an album since I find I listen to b-side compilations much less frequently. I understand why Magazine didn't make the cut but I'll never understand leaving Cars off. Maybe it was a Jeff/Jay thing, who knows. Since Jay put it on a solo record, that kind of tells me that it probably is more his tune than Jeff's I just feel like Radio Cure sucks the life out of the first half to the point where it ruins it for me. I know i'm in the minority here
  3. It's funny, I feel the exact same way. When non wilco fans ask me what their best album is, I have to qualify the answer by saying, if you take my version of YHF which deletes Radio Cure and adds Cars and Magazine, then imo YHF is their best and in the running for all time classic status. Otherwise, I tell them Being There is the best "released" album. Yes, I dislike Radio Cure that much.
  4. No. As a matter of fact I was so bummed that he was kicked out that i lost interest in the band for the few years after (I've been fortunate to have seen them tour every record but Mermaid ave 1 and was lucky enough to have had dinner with the band, minus Jeff, on the '99 tour.) To follow up on what others have said, Wilco shows 1995-2000 were fun, the first tour after he left was very boring to me, too serious and having loved the band with Jay, those shows were very lacking to me. Now with the new lineup with Nels and Pat, I would say that this incarnation live is better and tighter.
  5. [ I saw my first Wilco show there many moons ago. Had to be dragged there by a friend. http://wilcobase.com/event.php?event_key=248 Next time I went willingly! That is so funny you say that. I wasn't dragged but I was not familiar with Wilco at all when a buddy invited me to that show. Haven't missed a tour since. Dave
  6. I think Corduroy Cutoff Girl would make 9. And for my money, the version of Poor Places on the original demos is so different as to make it number 10. Dave Sorry

  8. Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Took your advice and pulled down the Zep reunion show. Hopefully that helps.
  9. Guys, thanks for very much for everything you do with the archive and seeding. Long time Wilco fan here, seen them on pretty much every tour since AM but the residency shows have gotten me reinvigorated. I'm new to BT world and downloaded a bunch of shows from e-tree and Dime. The shows I've downloaded on Dime tend be less popular than what I'm getting at e-tree and my Dime ratio sucks. Any ideas how I can point my e-tree seeds to Dime as well to get that ratio up? Also, I'm a little flumoxed about this shn thing as well. I have Winamp and when I try to add the shn files, nothing hap
