A day late but I saw Son Volt last night. I love their new Doug Sahm tribute album and wish they'd played the whole thing. Also, would it hurt Jay to smile at least once? The band sounded great, the show was fun, and the heat inside Tipitina's was pretty brutal.

I love it! I hadn't gotten into a Son Volt album in years until this one came along. I plan on picking it up at tomorrow night's show in NOLA. I'm hoping it will inspire Jay to pick up the pace and the mood a little on future offerings.
