Well, Neil Young was the headliner at MSG and I had seats where family and friends of the band sit as well as those with complimentary tickets so I don't know if they were all there for Wilco but here's the list.....Bill Murray, Fred Armisen, John McEnroe, Noel Gallagher, Gem, Amy Poehler, Timothy Hutton, Norah Jones and all the members of Wilco including Spencer who either sat near us when NY played or when we saw them back stage. Those were the ones I could identify. Big score that night.

I just checked them again using the link I posted and they worked for me. It took a few extra seconds to download each one though.

At that January session, Jeff will have a camera crew there to film the rehearsals for a documentary that will result in a concert in some unique place like on a boat or in the deserts of North Africa. However he will be accused of being too pushy by the other band members who will balk at the concert. Pat will walk out for a few days but after a meeting they will agree to finish the project and he comes back. Leroy is invited to sit in for a few of the songs easing the tensions a bit. Instead of traveling to perform a concert they will play a show on the roof of the Loft. In the middle of t

Actually I had the opportunity to venture into Wilco's dressing room at MSG in December after they opened for Neil Young. I posted about this back then but here is a brief recap. I shook hands with John, Glenn and Mikal congratulating them on a great show. Nels was busy with some friends and I didn't bother him. He also looked pretty beat. Pat was talking to friends outside the dressing room so rather than interrupt I said nothing to him. Jeff was sitting by one of those benches by a sports locker speaking to people with Spencer by his side. I waited for the crowd to move on and went up t

Is it so wrong to not like The Beatles?
Sparky speaks replied to Wild Frank's topic in Someone Else's Song
Several times I have made mix CDs for friends of mine who have never heard Wilco and the first thing they say to me is they like them because they remind them of the Beatles. So my way of thinking is Wilco = Beatles. You can't like one without liking the other. But I could be wrong, you might not like either. -

A Ghost Is Born Tracks: Better in the Studio or Live?
Sparky speaks replied to Livin' in New Orleans's topic in Just A Fan
Live all the way for the songs I actually like from it. To me there is a fake feel to some of the recorded versions as well as being too noisy. -

Don't listen to any one album usually. I have made several mixes depending on whether I want to hear acoustic type songs or electric. I do know I have listened to AGIB the least and probably won't ever listen to it much in the future. AM, Being There and SBS are the ones I turn to most when I do listen to any of their albums. I like a few AGIB songs live but the album is just noise to me. YHF and Summerteeth are a wash and WTA is just played out right now for me. I've been listening a lot to Uncle Tupelo recently but that doesn't count.
