A few months back I read an interview in which Glen(I think)suggested he would like to play large parts of a Wilco album in concert. So if they did, what four songs that appear consecutively on any studio album would you like to hear for their usual 2nd encore to end a show? I would like to hear..... Monday Outtasite (outta mind) Forget the Flowers Red Eyed and Blue/I Got You (since they usually play these two together)

Bear with me on this. I received my six stereo remasters that I purchased from Amazon I mentioned in an earlier post. By using reward certificates and free shipping I spent only $22 for the last six Beatles albums excluding Let It Be and Yellow Submarine. I am glad I did not buy a box set for $200 out of pocket. Either I am deaf or the stereo system in my car or the surround sound system I use at home to listen to these CD's are pieces of shit because for the life of me I can't hear the difference between the CD's I previously owned and the new remastered ones. Just purchased the remastered Past Masters, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album and Abbey Road in stereo for a total of $22 out of pocket on Amazon. Having an Amazon.com credit card allows you accumulate bonus points for any purchases with your card. I had $75 of reward certificates that I was going to use for a new ipod but couldn't resist using them to pick these up. With free shipping the balance was $22. Also got $6 of credit for free downloads from amazon. Not bad I guess. Now the wait begins for the delivery truck.

Actually I prefer LIB naked. None of the Phil Spector choir shit. Plus it has Don't Let Me Down. It's closer to the bootlegs I heard on a college radio station back in 1969 long before Let It Be was released. Actually when I did hear Let It Be I was was disappointed it didn't sound like the Glynn Johns version. Naked is closer to the original intent according to Paul I read somewhere. The recent expanded version of Yellow Submarine is far superior to the original movie soundtrack version so I won't be buying that one either.

I'm going to wait about a month and see if the prices fall a bit and see if I can get Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, the White Album and Abbey Road. Don't need Let It Be. Recently bought LIB Naked. Might ask for Magical Mystery Tour and the Past Masters for Xmas. I don't listen much to the early stuff. Got the Anthology and One for those.

I include One Wing and You Never Know in mixes I make for myself and others but I haven't listened to the whole album since early July. Much like AGIB I only listen to two or three songs and hardly ever the whole album. I have found myself really getting into SBS the past month. I listen to parts of it almost every day in the car. But then again I liked it the first time I heard it.
