Before the show started I asked one of the ushers if there was a curfew for the show wondering that if Wilco came out at 8:20, like they have been, if they would be cut short of the usual three hour gig. He told me the show was to begin exactly at 8:00 and be done by 10:30. I told him the shows have been three hours long and he mentioned something to the effect that he hoped they weren't because the ushers were volunteers and wanted to get out of there early. Well they hit the stage at 8:03 and ended at 11:00 sharp so "Barry" was probably in a hurry to get home. I don't know for sure if the

Great show. Highlights for me.....Magazine Called Sunset, Box Full of Letters, That's Not the Issue, Sunken Treasure and One By One. Never heard them live before. Audience was really into it. Jeff said they never played Hartford before. A lot of Wilco starved fans were taken care of in a good way. Rest of the set was pretty much the standards. I'll let someone else post it.

I don't think you need to purchase tickets at exactly the time tickets go on sale. They are general admission for a three day event. People will be coming and going. I wouldn't be surprised if tens of thousands of people will come through the event over the weekend. I don't think it is possible to sell out like a regular Wilco concert in a theater. But if you buy them early you get a bit of a discount. I'd be more worried about finding a room to stay in near by to avoid long travel distances everyday.

An all Wilco Woodstock....... -
My son and I got there about 5 PM and stood in the not so long line but soon it stretched around the corner. Having stood for two hours outside we were happy to sit in the balcony. We were able to snag a couple of seats in the second row on the left facing the stage. The center section was taped off for friends of the band. Well, one of the friends of the band created a real stir when he walked in. Sean Lennon loves those Wilco boys. He sat about six seats to our right and was rocking with the rest of us. Great show but the sound was a bit muddy where we were sitting.

Hey Speedy......What do you add but put downs and criticism of what I post. Well, at least I give you something to do. I am sorry I didn't know you were the high priestess of political discussion on this board. But you do make good Wilco DVD's. Thanks again for your input and support. Way to have an open mind about an issue which is clearly in doubt. I guess it is not the sun then because you said so. It was silly of me to bring some scientific studies and the views of one of the leading global warming spokesman into the conversation. Keep up the ad hominem attacks. Stay warm.

It is the sun stupid......Try and actually watch this clip before you all go ballistic on the messenger.....I broke my vow. I can't stand ice skating. From the UN.....These guys are nuts..... http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/images/stories/papers/originals/surface_temp.pdf

The "vile" articles speak for themselves. Don't attack me. I'm not one of the "scientists" who have lied to you for years. Next we will find out there is no shortage of oil. You are having it both ways again. First, I don't contribute anything to the debate and then when I do, it isn't good enough for you because it doesn't fit your beliefs. It doesn't really matter anymore. It was fun while it lasted. See you at a Wilco concert. Stay warm and breathe out. Complete version..... Moderator edit: Via Chicago Rules & Regulations: Wilco has a long-standing policy against the videotaping of their shows, and out of respect for this policy, the posting of such videos on Via Chicago is not allowed. This also applies to solo Jeff Tweedy shows.

If you are inferring I said this you are wrong. My comment was a response to Speed Racer's opinion that I might be educated. Stay warm.
