Why aren't the other members of the band allowed to record their songs on a Wilco album? Any consideration to allowing members of Wilco to perform a few of their songs at a Wilco concert like CSNY used to back in the day? For example, give John and Pat an acoustic set of two or three songs. What are the chances of a documentary or some kind of film detailing the upcoming Solid Sound Festival getting produced? When will the footage from the Kicking Television film be released? Is there a Wilco archive collection with unreleased songs, demos, videos, etc. being discussed for some future

Seat location? You'll be lucky to get a seat the way Wilco/Tweedy shows have been selling out recently. My advice, log on at the start of the pre-sale and keep your fingers crossed. If you waste time trying to select seat locations you will not get a ticket. Good luck...

I'm not smearing him. He smeared himself. Just pointing out why Tweedy's support bothers me. Rahm, to me, is a pretty crass individual and all that is wrong with our political leaders these days. I'll end it there.

One thing that I commented to my son about after the show was how neither Gary nor Mark changed guitars once throughout the whole show. Gary stuck to his Gibson SG and Mark to his acoustic Guild. Kind of kept the pace of the show quicker than most. Not much in the way of alternate tunings for the Jayhawks I guess.

Just got in from NYC and barely beat the snowstorm on the Connecticut Turnpike. Great show. They went on at 8 PM and played for a little under two hours without a break. Hollywood Town Hall was fantastic from the first song to the last. Being one of my all time favorite albums, this was a real treat. They played a couple of new ones which sounded like your typical Jayhawks songs and played a few from Tomorrow the Green Grass including Blue,I'd Run Away and Miss Williams' Guitar. Keeping within the parameters of last years performers, who would you like to see and who do you think might actually be invited to play at the Solid Sound Festival with Wilco next summer? Would bands like Old Crow Medicine Show or Drive By Truckers be considered too big and take away from the intimacy of the weekend by bringing in too many non Wilco followers? I would love to see Dawes or some one like Steve Earle. I was also thinking of Blue Mountain or the Gourds. I guess a lot has to do with who Jeff and the other Wilco members are into or who they have worked with recently, like Mavis S

I was thinking the same thing but when I sensed that there might be no place left to stay if I waited for confirmation, I booked a room. There is no charge to cancel if the date falls through. I was able to book a room at the Orchards Hotel in Williamstown online at booking.com. I was not able to book one from the hotel website however. I think I might have booked the last one. I never trust booking online especially when the hotel website says there are no rooms available but you can still go to a site like booking.com and get one. Do they allow for a certain number of rooms to be booked that way?

The next album will suck or not suck as much as their past albums. It's Wilco! Have they ever let you down? This thread sucks.

I can understand the argument that Sunken Treasure and Remember the Mountain Bed are kind of played out and too long, especially if you've seen several Tweedy solo shows and you have attended a few Wilco shows where they have played these songs repeatedly. I have heard Mountain Bed live five times including last night. That's about 40 minutes of concert time for one song. I now use it for a bathroom break if there is a need. But if you haven't heard it played, it's worth a play or two.
