  13. Yes. Child poverty at 20%. Rising infant and child mortality rates. Infrastructure crumbling. Foreclosures at record levels. Currency at point of collapse. Trillions of dollars of resources spent on wars we can't win. Special interests owning Congress. I would say you missed something.
  14. Hear, hear. I guess many people in this country are content with America becoming a Third World nation for that is what is happening with this so called globalized economy. The average workers purchasing power has steadily been decreasing, manufacturing jobs are a thing of the past and more and more people are now considered below the poverty level and collecting food stamps. The jobs we have lost the past few decades are not coming back. Just wait until your health benefits get taxed(if you have them) and you start paying for your carbon footprint as we enter a mini ice age. The trillions of d
  15. Downloaded some individual songs from iTunes and amazon as well as buying a few CDs. They were the best at the time as far as I was concerned or I wouldn't have purchased them. Steve Earle w/ Del McCoury Band CD Jonathan Edwards Todd Snider New Riders of the Purple Sage Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Old Crow Medicine Show Old and In the Way Drive-By Truckers Alice Cooper Cat Stevens Hendrix Beatles remastered CDs Neil Young Archives vol. 1 Blu Ray discs Ryan Adams/Whiskeytown Jayhawks anthology CD Monsters of Folk CD Connor Oberst CD Donovan Joe Walsh Cheap Trick/Sgt. Pepper CD Jerry Jeff Walker
  16. A little more colorful than the Shubert but size-wise I agree.
  17. Maybe Jeff has discovered there is no Santa Claus.
  18. Mike Cameron to Red Sox. 2 years. I guess Ellsbury and Bucholtz on way to Padres for Gonzalez.
  19. Good choices IMO for listen-ability reasons. Can't listen to AGIB without skipping several songs. I can take some of them live but not the album version.
  20. Canterbury came with the blu-ray box. I have two of them now. From Amazon.... The set comes with a 200-something page coffee table book (although not hardcover)with pictures, lyrics, etc as well. A thin but very long (4 feet or more) poster comes with the set as well, it looks like a big file cabinet with the song names written on the folders. Lastly, there is a special box that contains a card to download mp3s of all the songs, a physical copy of the CD version of Cantebury House-Live at Sugar Mountain, and a little note pad thingy.
  21. Live at the Fillmore with Crazy Horse Massey Hall Live at Canterbury House
  22. Jeff is a closet Red Sox fan. How about a show at Fenway?
  23. Yeah, I was surprised this was so good but I'll wait until whichever archive edition this appears in before I purchase it. I already owned three of the discs that came with Archives One. I'll just listen here for a few days until I get my fill.
