I would say that's probably a pretty accurate statement, but then again I'm biased.

He established a fairly good school and he brought a great many jobs to a economically depressed area. That's all I got. I generally despised the man. The ends really don't justify the means tho...

Probably not. Unless it's a piece your really attached too or is of Audiophile quality (Like an old Bang & Olufsen deck). I purged all my cassettes a few years back. I doubt I'll ever regret that. (Famous Last Words)

'shame. I just gave one of these to a kid. It worked perfectly and looked terrific with fake lustrous walnut sides of the case.

Spun that record this past weekend. It's brilliant in it's simplicity. They captured a classic vibe on that release. NP the Who: 30Yrs of Maximun R+B.

Tks Guys! I'm already a Mac guy w/ a 5yr old iMac. I've nursed her along long enough. This'll be my first Intel machine. Any reccomendations as far as on-line retailers? Currently leaning towards Mac Mall....

Macbook owners: What issues if any do you have with these late model machines? What do you like and what don't you like about them. Do you use one of the myriad of the available "Office 2004" suites or are you flying w/ "iWork", (or both). I need insights and suggestions. Thinking about getting a 2.0GHz model with a gig-o-memory. I'm upgrading my camera equip. thus I need to upgrade my OS and memory. Hence, new laptop. Should I wait for "Leopard"? Thoughts....

Lust learned Neko will be passing through, opening for Rufus Wainwright, in July. Third time in as many years. Color me happy.

Yeah, It is pretty neat. First impressions: Mostly slow to mid tempo stuff. Reminds me a great deal of old Gerry and the Pacemakers material. Nothing terribly rocking. "A Man in Love" presents itself pretty readily as a nice little pop nugget. "Rome wasn't built in a day" is a nice number with a simple, crisp little horn arrangement that feels like Nick Lowe going for Sam Cooke. But overall...

They've got Orange, Wintergreen and lemon combinations. None of which have much of a punch, it's a pretty subtle flavor. http://www.metromint.com/

More like water and Wrigley's Spearmint chewing gum. Curiously, I like it tho. "Calming" too.

I'm new to this. Really good stuff.

Yup. I wonder what it is that triggers those responses. Are you just not attentive enough initially or cognizant of the intricacies of the music. Is there something going on at a particular moment in your life that causes you to be more affected by it when you encounter it again. The light bulb goes off and suddenly it's all, "Ahhh". Anyway.... NP

It's always funny when your playing an album that you've had for awhile and it suddenly dawns on you that you absolutely "love it" NP
