  1. I'd say I am the exact opposite. That is what's cool though, there is something there for everyone.
  2. I think they should have stuck with him.
  3. I'd like to know who the "Wife" is in the song "My Wife's Hometown". As far as I know, he is no longer married.
  4. Billboard gives April 28th as the release date:
  5. That version did not move me the way the other one did. It is interesting to see Warren playing a SG. I see he has the re-mastered cds.
  6. I had forgotten about him working with them until I read the recent Rolling Stone interview.
  7. I am curious to hear it. I only hope it is not like the last album he made.
  8. Maybe I missed this somewhere - but I wonder what the deal is with the Rick Rubin tracks.
  9. I don't see that video posted at the link you posted. I just saw that posted on The Office Tally last night. I don't listen to NPR or read their website - except for a few times when a new album has been posted there for preview.
  10. New Boss clip (from NPR of all places). Another Golden Ticket deleted scene. I learned that stretching deal from Happy Days. A new Adventures With Angela.
  11. Speaking of Larry, I always that part in Rattle and Hum where he is going on about the Elvis movies was touching, but seemed odd at the same time.
  12. I'd be surprised if there is that many out there. It's like Brad, Tom, and Joey, (Aerosmith) - they called themselves "The Less Interesting Three."
  13. That part about the beeper is funny.
  14. I suppose you have to know that there is at least one other person around here that posts this sort of thing. So, it's all been seen before. No surprise there - as most stuff gets posted over and over again. I don't have a problem with this sort of thing, it's like ghosts or The Bermuda Triangle, there is something there, somewhere. The problem though, is the source. When I looked the guy up, I found this: So - I have a hard time with what he wants me to watch after reading that.
  15. I always like to read Larry's answers to questions. He does not mess around.
  16. I am going to get that movie. I just recalled it is coming out next month on DVD. I hope the quality is better than what I taped off of TV back in the 90s.
  17. They even did Dickey's "hippie" song (Revival).
  18. I should have said backing track - as Mr. Indy pointed out. I wish they would have done a live vocal. Which is one of my main problems with some of Neko Case's albums, the vocals are too sanitized.
  19. This sort of thing reminds me of when stores went from carrying albums to carrying mostly cassettes.
  20. Also in the article I mentioned above, it suggests that Wal Mart was going to do away with cds all together until they saw how many millions of people bought the last Eagles cd there. OF course, that was the only way to get it. We don't have a Borders here, but I use to go to one in PA. The whole bottom floor of the place was filled with rows and rows of cds. That's gone now.
  21. Link to set lists page on Hittin' The Note. Set list from last night:
