I am watching Dave's video. I'd say they are the OG tapes the farmer guy had. He sort of mentions it at one point. I bet they did not pay him a million dollars though.

I wonder what the story is there. Are those the tapes those people had that wanted 1 million dollars for or whatever? And hopefully they got the actual tapes. And not the VHS-Cassette dups. I guess Rob Eaton had something to do with it.

I have never read that or the other Wilco book that came out some years ago. I think they are on my booklist probably. I don't see him doing that either. I don't think he is into playing big shows or what have you. He still tours around in a van I think. Although if the world of country music was not fouled - Hearts and Minds would be a hit song.

The version of Stolen Car on the Tracks box set may be even better than the album version. For those who have not heard it.

NPR has the new one up: Prisoner After hearing the whole thing - I think it sounds like a bad 80s Springsteen album. Good luck to those of you who are buying this and listening to it.

It's a great album. The one I have has Ozzy spelled "Ossie" in the album credits on the back side of the album.

I think I read somewhere that he is writing a book about the Whiskeytown days. Have you seen the super deluxe package of the new album? I am not buying it - but he has put some interesting things together.
