I guess there are some rumors that this will be a Wildflowers album tour and that the long mentioned re-issue will be coming out.
-
I guess Tom is not taking much time off between projects this time: (I finally listened to Mudcrutch 2 the other day. I could not get into it.)
-
That's it.

Oh, I go back further than that. He is never going to make Stranger's Almanac again.

Tell them this is America - you can do whatever you want. There are some unpleasant things on there. People upload all sorts of shit.

Use Imgur. . . or upload from a photo on your computer -

Unreleased Uncle Tupelo demos? New interview with Jay at Garden and Gun
Analogman replied to pathfire's topic in Just A Fan
I think they actually had a live album put together but never released it. If they are going to do those demos - I say put all of them out. Whatever they have - -

I'm not all that crazy about that album. Besides some of the Jay songs - I guess he means there is something besides Colorblind and Rhymeless, Live and Otherwise, and Not Forever, Just For Now that we have not heard. That is interesting. -
I think Chris needs an outside producer. Some of the CRB stuff is great - i.e. Rosalee. But some of it just makes no sense to me. Chris and Rich really need each other. But I have read in recent interviews that they don't even speak to each other. So I guess that is not going to happen.

I decided not to buy the recent EP as I can't get into the last album. Speaking of the Black Crowes - there is a guy putting up a bunch of 95/96 shows up at bt.etree.org. Supposedly - a lot of the shows are uncirculated or have not been out and around for a while.

That song sounds like something played at the end of a movie you saw on HBO in 1983.

Yet another album of his I won't buy. Such a shame.

What took you so long! Classic albums you just discovered

The best thing about that album is some of Tony's solos. -

I don't care for those songs all that much. -

There may have not been that many of those pressed. As vinyl was on it's way out around that time (1988). You probably already knew that. I have not bought any used records in a long time. There are now two places down the street here that sell used records. A friend of mine tells me their prices are too high. And it is probably common stuff - Frampton Comes Alive, Bob Seger, Styx, etc. -

It use to be if you went to a flea market and they had albums - you would find many copies of that record. -

You don't like Sabbra Cadabra and Spiral Architect? -
I have the basic first generation Nook. I never wanted anything else. I will probably go with a Kindle when this used Nook stops working.

My 7 year old Nook stopped working not to long ago. I got lucky and was able to grab a "gently used" Nook for 30 bucks by way of Ebay. I can tell whoever owned it never used it. Oddly enough, the cable was fouled though. I am glad I kept my old cable. Since I really only do library books - I need the cable to grab books as well as charge.
