I would think so. Too bad more bands could not follow the R.E.M. and U2 way of doing things. Of course, it is not like The Allman Brothers had any hits exactly. At least probably not since the 1970s. I recall a few years back one of their songs was in a commercial for feminine hygiene products or adult diapers. I can't recall which. I remember thinking - I hope they all got a check from that.

I suppose this could be stuck in a bunch of threads.

I have often wondered how a drummer in a band had a place in the South of France. Maybe he overspent. I recall he had some trouble with the Moogis thing he came up with several years ago. Maybe he lost a lot on that.
-
That is surprising to hear that he had money problems. I though he was the guy that looked after all the sort of thing.

I was just reading about that thing that Billy and Bob are doing in Mexico. The played Mountain Jam last night.
-
I may have bought that cd at the same place. I was also listening to that Allman Brothers show that came out by way of the GD (Fillmore East - February 1970).
-
I wonder if it sounds better now. It was pretty muddy as I recall. I would think they were probably able to get a better analog to digital transfer all these years later. If they went back to the tape.

That Mountain Jam is over 40 minutes - if I recall. I have not listened to that in a long time.

Does that have the Ludlow Garage show from 1970? I recall buying that in a record store when it first came out in 1990. I have not bought any of re-issues or Deluxe re-releases. I always wondered what that title meant - until the book came out and they talked about the name of their practice cabin. Which is funny - as Lynyrd Skynyrd also had a cabin like that.

That's it. It's a great show.

If you don't have that Stonybrook show - you may want to get it. I was thinking they might change their mind after the end of the band. But guess not.
-
I have been using tables and chairs to do that since I was a kid. I have learned over the years that women in particular find it rather annoying.

That is totally odd. I was just listening to the Stonybrook 1971 show last weekend.

Sad if true - He seemed like the only original guy that didn't have health problems. I wonder what happened.

Post what you think about the end of Season 2 - I have read there is going to be a Season 3.
-
I'll have to check it out.

And this is the next one: I do love that song Sugaree.

Below are all the shows we have collected and uploaded from July 2016 to January 2017: (I was going to wait a while to do another upload. But since we had so many shows appear recently - I thought we should get them uploaded before the Winter tour starts.)

I saw some of the webcast on Youtube. It sounded to me as if they slowed everything down. And Phil was setting on a stool.
-
I have it - but I don't think I have listened to it more than once or twice.
-
I think the talk was he is too busy with his radio show and possibly another Trigger Hippy album.

This guy's YT channel has a bunch of videos up: The Magpie Salute 01/19/2017
-
I think I have seen that clip.

I've actually never seen that whole film. Just a couple of videos from it.
