I may have seen parts of Million Dollar Hotel. Is the whole band in some of the scenes? On a rooftop or something like that?
-
I know about the other roles. Although I have never seen Million Dollar Hotel.
-
I will say the filming or whatever you call it was great. I also thought some of the song interpretations sounded as if Oasis were doing the tracks. I just wonder how Bono ended up in there. He actually looked like The Edge did around the time of Zooropa. I wonder if that was intentional.

I watched this musical (I hate musicals) Across The Universe at a friend of mines house the other night. I was surprised to see Bono in the film. I don't recall the real Dr. Robert looking like Bono did in that film. I could be wrong.

Now that is awesome. -
Uncle Tupelo shows (uploaded today) (You will find the shows in the folder for each year.)
-
Check out the version from 1997 - Elvis Meets Nixon. (You can probably find it on Youtube.)
-
Maybe they just got together and jammed.
-
I wonder if Jeff did anything on his new album. I recall they seemed to spend some time together a few years ago.
-
Yes - what is left of it. I am 50 now.

I think there was sort of scene here where I live back then. I don't know much about it as I was never involved in such things. It was nice to see everyone with long hair though. Maybe the last time we will see that. A friend of mine from high school was the the main main in one of those sorts of bands. I believe they are still at it. The band is called The Recipe.

I have read that story somewhere. I don't recall where though. Maybe in one of those Taper's books.
-
I didn't watch it - but I think I saw a video compilation of news reports somewhere the other day. I don't think I used the Internets until later on - late 1996 I think.

I take it you get the joke I was making - Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo.
-
Did you ever play with Electric Apricot?
-
It was either that - or the second show. I forget which. That must be it.
-
Hey - another new live album: Band of Gypsys - First Show - Fillmore East 12/31/1969 This is the good stuff though.
-
I wonder if the space where they played is still there? It would be cool to check it out. Just after I posted this reply I found a Jeff show from Harpur College (Illinois) at bt.etree.org. Cosmic.

That's on the live release Deep End Live.

Here's one Mountain Bed will appreciate:
-
I use to listen to that White City tape quite a bit back in the day.
-
Pete is releasing a show from the 1980s:
-
I take it that is from one of the recent new uploads at bt.etee.org. Any other band would probably do a cease and desist on whoever is uploading that stuff.
-
I may grab some of them. I rather like that song Clementine. I just now dialed up the 2/2/1968 version of that song. After the video was over YouTube kicks to 12-14-1971 and a Pigpen rap.

There is a bunch of GD and JGB shows up at bt.etree today that seem to be un-circulated and/or new Betty Board tapes. That's the first I have heard that there are new ones out there.
