I just started reading that. I got it in e-book form from my public library. My first thought was - how can there be a 600 page book about The Replacements. I can see this guy is going the route of starting with the family background. I just got up to the SNL appearance.

That is odd - as far as Marc goes. I believe they sued him the last time he left the band.
-
I've seen some photos of him from a few years earlier and he looks even worse.
-
I think someone smelled money. It was the same with the Dixon case. Of course, there was no internet back then. They paid him off - as I recall.
-
I've heard it. I never got into that band. I am sure this case has sold some tracks for them this month. There is also this tune: Davy Graham - Cry Me a River

I think their argument is that the chords are common and are used in all sorts of songs. I suppose they have blocked any mention of the Willie Dixon lawsuit from the 1980s.

I would think he is probably not to happy about this trial they are having to sit through.

That's the one I mentioned above. I guess there is no shortage of Zappa documentaries to be made.

Two very different documentaries: Jaco (2014) I Am Thor (2015)

That's a hoot. He is on the Tall/Amorica Sessions, Croweology, and some other stuff.
-
He's also on some Black Crowes albums. I guess Rich re-did the Paper album for this latest re-release. Something about the vocal tracks being destroyed in a flood.

The Beatles: Eight Days a Week (trailer)

It's a type of music I explore from time to time. I may buy that someday.

I have not put any shows in the folder yet. I may get to it sometime this month.

Any interest in this stuff:

I saw this blurb on my Facebook page today:
-
I saw a video. That was pretty powerful.

This sort of surprises me. Has Bob ever said such a thing before:
-
Shades of Idiot's Delight/Live At Lunch by Vin Scelsa. Which I use to listen to back in the early days of the internet.
-
Streaming at NPR: case/lang/veirs
-
Maybe not (by way of Billboard):

The Mamas and The Papas did a great version of Glad To Be Unhappy. I bought some Gabor Szabo and Chico Hamilton cds a while back. I generally don't listen to such things - but that is some great music.

I was thinking that album was done. I see they are still working on it.

What's the story on those photos from the studio Adam was posting a while back? I could not tell if it was something he was doing - or more U2 recording.
