That makes me think of those scanner tapes that I have read about.

What the hell kind of bass is that? It looks like something Les Claypool would play.

A song written mostly about Spencer Dryden. -

I've not heard Rich's or Marc's album - I should check those out some time.

I was hoping you were going to say that you had time travel figured out.
-
The photos I was looking at are from 1970 - maybe they just had something painted on the drum head with a light behind it or in front of it. The photo is on page 217 - of the Taper's book.

I was just looking at the photos from the Fillmore East in the book - was there some sort of light show effect being reflected or coming through the bass drums? It looks like it.

No problem. We'll get them all - eventually. -
I don't much care for Rich's singing. I could swear I have heard Chris singing You've Got To Hide Your Love Away somewhere.
-
That would be pretty cool to see.

Did Rich always sing You've Got To Hide Your Love Away? I thought Chris sang that one. I'm glad to see they brought back To Love Somebody - their take on it is similar to the Flying Burrito Brother's version.

It's a Black Sabbath song - off of their first album. It sounds better than it reads.

This is a lot better than the last show I heard from this tour. It is up at bt.etree.org.

I figure it will come out on DVD (officially) some day.

I have the soundtrack to that film, found it in a cut-out bin back in the day. Recently, I have seen the film up at a couple of various BT sites. The Clash video you posted above is really clear - either someone cleaned that up, or it came from a laser disc. Outside of LC, and a few other songs, I don't really care for them - but, I have always thought that version of Armagideon Time was great.

Happy Birthday.

I have it - I got if from some Bit Torrent site a while back. I think all of it is on Youtube now.

We don't have the 9/22/2004 show. We have the 6/30/05 show coming in from Europe - may be a while before it is up at the Owl and Bear though. I figure this is what you mentioned: 9/22/2004 - db.etree.org (people who have the show listed) 6/30/2005 - db.etree.org (people who have the show listed) I would be surprised if anyone here has those shows.
