In the book, it says that David Gans and Dick Latvala named the jam - it does say that they named it after the town, but no reason as to why. I suppose it was because it is a play on his name. In the track above, I'd say the jam around The Other One is better than what comes after it.

I saw some the other day - Dr. Pepper, 7-Up, and some orange pop. There were loose bottles though, and they were not returnable.
