  1. I am not much of a Family Guy fan - but did anyone see this: Family Guy - McCain/Palin Scene
  2. It was also in American Beauty and The Limey. I have always read that the song was about Tom Wright, although, Pete was heavily involved with those who followed Meher Baba at the time he wrote the song.
  3. Only one source that I know of - the discs I received were fouled, so I can't do anything with them. PM Oceanman - did you do that?
  4. It's funny, in that gear book, the phrase "some roadies closet" is used more than once - one of which, is Phil talking about a Fender Jazz Bass that he had, and that disappeared.
  5. That makes me think of those scanner tapes that I have read about.
  6. What the hell kind of bass is that? It looks like something Les Claypool would play.
  7. Powell's Endorsement Is a Huge Slap in the Face for McCain
  8. I've not heard Rich's or Marc's album - I should check those out some time.
  9. I was hoping you were going to say that you had time travel figured out.
  10. The photos I was looking at are from 1970 - maybe they just had something painted on the drum head with a light behind it or in front of it. The photo is on page 217 - of the Taper's book.
  11. I was just looking at the photos from the Fillmore East in the book - was there some sort of light show effect being reflected or coming through the bass drums? It looks like it.
  12. Grateful Dead Rehearsal Change Rocks for Obama
  13. I don't much care for Rich's singing. I could swear I have heard Chris singing You've Got To Hide Your Love Away somewhere.
  14. Did Rich always sing You've Got To Hide Your Love Away? I thought Chris sang that one. I'm glad to see they brought back To Love Somebody - their take on it is similar to the Flying Burrito Brother's version.
  15. It's a Black Sabbath song - off of their first album. It sounds better than it reads.
  16. This is a lot better than the last show I heard from this tour. It is up at bt.etree.org.
