Bottle Rockets in Chicago - Beat Kitchen
Analogman replied to Wilco Worshipper's topic in Someone Else's Song
The only Bottle Rockets album I have ever heard was The Brooklyn Side - which I actually gave away for some odd reason years ago. Another one of those bands that I have read a lot about, but never really listened to. -

Ninjas are everywhere! That ground reminds me of where I grew up - sorta. -

A post about Being There and a chain of events in someone's life - from a dude's blog that I have been reading for many years. -
Analogman does not worry about that anymore (most of the time) - that is up to you dudes.

I think those Pirate Bay dudes have got busted several times. I won't mess with places like that - or Demonoid anymore. -

I meant the Oink chap. Blogger does not like all the links - they read it has a spam blog. -

That is good - since I am paranoid about the blog disappearing, I re-did that thread in the BT section here on the board as a copy of what I have listed on that blog. I don't claim to know everything, but those links are some of the places I have found answers over the last couple of years. That dude just got his bail extended - -

When I download something that way and/or FTP, I hit about 60-70kbs, when I do BT, I can hit 300/400 kbs per second, if there is a lot of seeders, that is. -

Now, keep track of how long that takes - I am curious. -

Well, what I meant was - FLAC torrents are usually 400-500 Mbs, whereas Mp3 torrents are 50-60 mbs, for example. So - I would think a WAV torrent would be 800-900 mb? I don't know - I have never messed with such a thing. Although, I recall dudes upping WAV torrents on Oink. I know this is not Bit Torrent we are talking about - How big it the WAV file in size? -
I have it - don't recall what she writes about though. Here is a link to the rock book thread - in case you are interested.

I recall reading somewhere that Daniel Lanois was going to do that also. I wonder how long it would take to download something that big? It would be like snagging a movie file. -
