I seldom, if ever, watch movies anymore. If someone starts a channel that shows movies such as Deadly Game, Winter Kill, The Girl In The Empty Grave, and Against A Crooked Sky, then sign me up. (Even Big Perm has not seen these movies.)

So if we had that, you would have to post the movie you were about to watch in that thread, the movie you were watching at the moment in the now watching thread, and the last movie you watched in this thread. Is that correct? Or is this a scene from Catch-22?

When you whip out the 200 bucks and buy the dvds, I will come over and watch the show. I actually could probably find it out there to snag - that is how, uh someone gave me all the episodes of The Prisoner.

I think the difference is - this is a thread about the last movie you watched, the other one is only for movies you are watching at the very moment you type in the Now Watching thread.

I have never actually messed with any Bruce shows - I am surprised he actually allows taping. Which reminds me, I am looking for this: A Pocketful Of Demo's (The Complete Demo Recordings 1972-1973).

That makes me think of all the stuff I taped when John Lennon was killed - and the Lost Lennon Tapes series - which I think is out there to be had these days. Related to this, I use to be a big VHS taper - I think of this when I see clips of some band on Youtube playing on Letterman in 1992 or whatever. I have a lot of stuff like that - I think I actually posted the list on here once in some thread a few years ago.

It is just different - I should check it out tonight. What's the other famous show? Where they were surrounded by boxcars - in NJ? I am surprised that MG has not written a book yet -

I think we did that - or made up radio stations and comedy skits - trying to be like SCTV. Jeff Tweedy also did that sort of thing.

I was just listening to those albums yesterday. Racing in the Street, indeed.

The same could be said for indie hipsters (particularly the girls I see with tattoos on their necks*), line dancers in big hats, jazz fans who look down their nose at rock fans, etc. It never ends, right? That's why I think it is cool to just dig what you dig, and leave out the rest. Or rather, I strive to do that. *(a joke on the young lady who I saw with a skull and bones tattoo on her neck at the store the other day - I wanted to ask her if she was a pirate)

Well, we can have this thread - so that is pretty cool.

When I find places like the above, I am reminded that I want to destroy certain things before I go. When I look/listen to that sort of thing, I feel like I am looking/listening to someone's private stuff. That said, I know of many old found/bought family photo places on the web - which is probably how I found the link above. On the positive side - I have tapes of a friend of mine playing music who is dead now. I was able to digitize those a while back - amazing really.
