  1. It's dragging - iclips was trying to get me to download something called an Autobahn accelerator - but I passed on that deal. I think they are talking shit now - I always heard that they [GD] were never interested in politics back in the day.
  2. I am not really all that much into Obama - but here is the link to the webcast: link
  3. Yea, I ain't jumping on anyone - just spilling my spiel. N.S.U.
  4. That has pretty much died off here - but - it seems to be alive and well on some other message boards I have looked at. We use to a BT site here also, but it is now gone. That is one thing I like about the Ryan Adams message board that I just joined - they seem to have a pretty active BT section. Which is a bit odd - considering all of his shows get put up in SBD form at archive.org. The Owl and The Bear is a great place - it's not BT, so there really is nothing too dificult to figure out. I decided not to wait on the answer concerning us putting shows up at archive.org - although I bet pe
  5. Mp3 blogs are a whole different deal - blog traffic, indeed. I won't argue with you - that would not be right.
  6. You have a good point but still - people should learn how to do things the way they are done "out there" - instead of having Via Chicago be an exception to what one usually finds out there. I still think it's an i thing vs. a we thing.
  7. I wonder if ABC is going to run the eight episodes in a row - or save some of what they have for May.
  8. The FLAC files are up at The Owl & the Bear - since May 15th, 2007. I have also seen this show up at various BT sites. Note - I just posted the above in case someone wanted it in FLAC. It has been suggested to me that people don't like "complaints" about the posting of entire Wilco/Tweedy shows in Mp3 here - so, I am not
  9. Mystery Train: Images of America in Rock 'n' Roll (1975, fourth revision 1997) I guess he is going to keep re-doing that book forever.
  10. Bill Graham, The Rowan Brothers Rehearsal, NRPS Rehearsal Grateful Dead - Johnny B. Goode Grateful Dead - Goin Down The Road-->Not Fade Away Grateful Dead - Casey Jones Cold Blood - You Got Me Hummin' Jefferson Airplane - We Can Be Together Santana - In A Silent Way Bill Graham and Mike Wilhelm argue Santana - Incident at Neshabur Elvin Bishop - The Sky Is Crying Fillmore: The Last Days (1972)
  11. I don't get this - I see people saying this from time to time - but I don't recall ever hearing Wilco doing any sort of "jamming". There are some songs that go on a bit - such as Impossible Germany - but do they really play it any different that the studio arrangement, let alone do some sort of free form playing from night to night? I have not really heard any of the shows from the last year - so I don't know.
  12. I don't think I have ever really really heard a Ratdog song - even though they play up the road from me at some hippie fest every summer. Speaking of all this sort of thing - I have always been curious as to how and why Phil had that album out on Columbia a few years ago. I am thinking it must have been a one shot deal. I really have a heard time listening to anything that has to do with all these dudes that is not 67-74 Grateful Dead - and that is just the way it is.
  13. I think I read somewhere that Bob was cautious about him due to the fact that he attempted suicide on the bus while on tour.
  14. I've heard them. The tracks were re-done by Kevin Shirley - I think.
