What's the scoop on the Duane show? You know, some years ago, that dude that works for The Allman Brothers (Kirk?) said in an interview that there was going to be a Duane boxset and that the show he sat in with the Dead would be on it.

You just need to tone it down and think a little bit. If you constantly start threads in the non-umm sections and POST IN ALL CAPs, and whatnot - you become a target. It's cool to be excited - I can dig that. I am trying to help you out here - not put you down.

Although I disagree with the belittling and/or insulting comments directed your way (as well as others on here), and have actually spoken up for you, you should think before you post sometimes.

Me too - although with a hundred people or less. -
At least they are not using farkin' real player.

Right - contrary to popular belief - I wasn't busting on the dudes.

I'll never understand why people don't search or post their question in a thread that already exists - if it fits. It's a pretty standard practice - out there - from what I can see. Also, it helps when one does search for something.

I'll vote for her.

How come there isn't a thread for the best show on TV?

I was curious to why it did not come up - like C66 - so I just searched in the archives for the heck of it. or John, I'm Only Searching -

It's from 2004 - so it is in the archives. -
From reading that story, looks a lady ripped him off. I never really cared for him - but I rather enjoy hearing Joe Cocker sing Bird On A Wire. I feel bad for his deal though.

There was a time when he used such a thing when playing acoustically - or some pedal that produced a sound sort of like flanging, anyhow.
-
Maybe he had some flanging going on.
-
Aha - ye olde compression. Interesting.

This reminds me somewhat of the Yahoo.com plan to have a site with lyrics to "millions" of songs - I wonder what became of that deal.
-
Seems to me he is a bit out of tune there, yes?
-
Of course - but sometimes, it's cool just to watch the art. I don't care for hardly any new shows - this is a cut above, you are right.

I do like loooking at that screen shot website though.
