It's pretty calculated I'd say - but it is funny. I like the one where the loan sharks kept showing up to yell at the italian dude while Gordon was yelling at him.

One of these days, I am going to scan my fan club newsletters and put them online. Although, I suppose they are all out there somewhere.

I watched that show once - he was hanging around with Harvey Pekar. I usually don't go for such shows - but I sort of like this one: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives And just because I can not believe people would serve such crap - sometimes I like to watch Gordon Ramsay yell at people: Kitchen Nightmares

I guess they don't look at that album with fondness due to the making of it - but it was the second one I bought, Lifes Rich Pagent being the first. Did someone say in a previous REM thread that you can't get Chronic Town as a stand alone album anymore? I have an original cassette pressing of that album.

I always thought it was weird that they admitted this - - but not Rock On as an influence on Drive

I wish more songs on the album were like that in some fashion. I am surprised they never got sued by David Essex.
