The Flying Burrito Brothers Live - Avalon Ballroom 1969

I thought it was funny when I saw all the press he was doing last summer. Maybe he keeps his tapes in a shed in his compound. -

According the article in No Depression - Stanley was not willing to do this at first, but then changed his mind. I wonder if he keeps his non-Dead tapes separate from the vault? I know in recent years, some Jefferson Airplane shows have been released that he taped. I will be surprised if he does not do some sort of Wolfgang's Vault deal some day. I have the Allman Brothers live cd that came out via Grateful Dead Records some years back - I think it is out of print now - it was made from a Stanley tape. Not the same source - according to the article in this month's issue of No Depression. Or - did you mean the show itself? -

A very detailed FAQ - including templates for writing letters to the band. Also - we will have to change some files most likely so that they meet the following rule:

I suppose we will have to have a debate and elect a leader. (joke) Personally, I welcome anyone who wants to help. There are those out there that know much more than me when it comes to this stuff.

Where to start with The Grateful Dead?

This must be one of the reasons they killed SBD downloads at archives.org. I am glad I got the shows I wanted before that happened. -
I just finished searching bt.etree, dime a dozen, pure live gigs, and tape city. Maybe we can attempt to make a master list - I have my list in Excel - but we can't upload that sort of file here. I suppose we shall have to do it via email. I did not mess with any Uncle Tupelo shows - as that probably involves dudes outside of Wilco - maybe we can get UT shows up there if we are successful in getting Wilco up there. I have the following info on my list: Band--Date--City/State/Country--Source--Download Complete-- Torrent Site Wilco 9/10/1995 Wilco 1/31/1997 Wilco 2/19/1997 W

I bet the bosses of the network are not to happy - this was their highest rated show I do believe. I have noticed that A&E is really the crime and punishment channel these days. I was talking to someone I work with about TLC yesterday - I said they should rename it the Tattooed Lady Channel. These type of shows are big - and I don't think they are going away anytime soon.

I have someone in mind to write the note. I am going to read over the FAQ's and also, work on the list of shows out there right now + what I have. I assume we will not be accepting tour compilations or studio/demo tracks for this project.

Ms. Kidsmoke is ok with this - we need to write a letter to send to Wilco management. I was about to let you know - weird.

I wonder if that is the same deal where Brett Michaels is talking about Michael Stipe.

I believe it was also in the same breath as when he spoke about how the song Le Freak came to be written - that is, after being denied entry into Studio 54 - so maybe he was just upset in general that day.

For the record (if there is one), when I saw the Nile Rodgers talk about this in the documentary that I can't remember the name of, he sounded to me like when the hair metal dudes complain about the grunge movement.

We had some discussion on this not to long ago. Maybe you would like to read it. -
Nile was also talking about that in some other rock and roll ducmentary - I can't recall which one. That is the first time I ever heard such a thing. I guess that is the way he views it.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers also did this - mid 1990s?

Maybe it's because it went from an hour back to a half hour. The Earl episode was nuts this week - they ripped off Reno 911 a bit, but I thought it was funny. It's a trip just to see who will be the guest actor(s) from week to week.

Not bad. This happened to him once before - he caught it in a subway door. Photos of Jason's drumkit.

I would be happy to help on this project.
