That's the cover of The Slider. Two tears in a bucket, on old buckethead.

I don't love that movie - I just think the metal dudes are funny mostly.
-
I like both of those movies. I have been known to read magazines at someone's house - if I do not like the movie that was picked for the group to watch.

We all have our cross to bear - this is a big one. As I have said before - hats off, for not getting a new drummer - but how in the hell can they play along with that electronic drum deal all of these years. I hate this band bad. I hope the trend of cover albums goes away soon. We talked about this in some cover albums thread last summer - I think.

There is currently a case going on in the capitol of the state I live in to ban Pat Conroy's "The Prince of Tides" and "Beach Music." I don't believe in banning books. This is nothing new - church groups and other such groups have been doing that sort of thing for years. And as I said earlier - stating that one of the characters in the book is gay will just give those sort of folks more reasons to suppress the books.

In this day and age there is no reason to pay a bunch of money for out of print cds - dig around on the web - it is out there or rather probably something that one could have found on Oink.

That's right. If Rob wants to do something like that - I am willing to do the work to help him. I suppose my thinking on the request was this - After The Show Reviews, setlists, torrent links, B&P offers, & discussion of live shows As those 2 sections contain info that one would most likely seek after a show, why not have them all in a section called After The Show.

A thread from August 2007.

I was wondering about that myself. It would be cool if Wilco would go for putting the stuff up at archives.org. Although, they offer a Mp3 download on there - and I don't like that. I believe all the Ryan Adams shows are on there now. Do you have a list of what you have? I have made one in Excel - there are several shows that have no seed - so I am suppose I will have to get those elsewhere.

I have a nice Humble Pie compilation that I made + I rather enjoy Rock On.

I know - just figured it was not going to happen. I spoke to Solace about it. I think most people who want a show seem to be going to the After The Show section these days - so I thought why not have the BT/BP sections there. I think this is because the VC tracker is gone, and people don't seem to mess with B&P much these days. Something else I have been working on - I am in the process of downloading every show that is out there fromt he current tour - so I will have those for whoever wants a copy at some point. It would be nice if we could work on some sort of list of all the shows t

I disagree - the same info is being posted in two or three different sections - and people don't search - they just start new threads asking for a show. I doubt it's going to happen - as I think it would have been done by now.

It comes out on Tuesday.

I think there is a part in it that mentions the typewriter being set up in the back of the bus and people typing lines on it. I think there is also an example of this - sort of anyway - in The Wilco book.

Is it anything like the recent Kurdt Cobain film?

Yes - I am snagging it right now.

The strict rules that Oink had can not be enforced in a public place - as I see it.

I have never listened to the band in question here - did not seem like the sort of music I would listen to. I think I have seen some youtube videos of them.
