  2. They are from your home state!
  3. Well, some of use like songs longer than 3 minutes.
  4. To me, Poison are not metal - more like glam/pop rock. The dude should buy some Iron Maiden cds.
  5. I was thinking the whole GD thing rubbed off on him - but - as you say, not on record.
  6. I suppose some of us thought the album would have jams like that on it - at least I did anyway.
  7. I have the greatest hits they put out - so maybe that is the one I will get.
  8. You meant to say 29 - you always skip that song because of the music. I snagged a song called Words last night - it was on the Elizabethtown soundtrack.
  9. Strawberry Wine- I dislike that song also. It is somewhat discombobulated - like American Star N Bars. He does seem to mix and match old and new songs somewhat - like Neil does.
  10. Maybe that is the deal - just like our wildly different views on U2 and REM, Ryan has something for everyone. It is at least nice to see people pick something other than Heartbreaker all the time.
  11. I think it's right up there with all the other near concept/concept albums of the day. Plus, how many albums have a song in which a dude welcomes home his girlfriend from prison and also, a song about WWI?
  12. Did you get the last pm I sent you?
  13. I can understand that - I am not much for the piano stuff - but I prefer the dark songs. 1. Goodnight Rose 2. Everybody Knows - Elizabethtown Sessions - 3. The Sun Also Sets 4. Halloween Head 5. Off Broadway - The Suicide Handbook - 6. Two Hearts 7. Tears Of Gold 8. These Girls 9. Two - Elizabethtown Sessions -- 10. I Taught Myself How To Grow Old 11. Oh My God,Whatever, Etc. 12. Rip Off 13. Pearls On A String
  14. I know - I read somewhere recently that he feels Love Is Hell is his best work.
  15. This may be my favorite next to Love Is Hell and 29.
  16. I have those - but I think I have only listened to the B-sides discs.
  17. new silent GD film - with New Potato Caboose added The band on stage early on is actually Santana.
  18. Which version? # Audio CD (1987) (October 25, 1990) # Original Release Date: 1968 # Number of Discs: 1 # Label: Rhino / Wea (I have this one - sounds muddled to me - early cd technology at it's finest I suppose) # Audio CD (March 26, 1998) # Original Release Date: 1968 # Number of Discs: 1 # Label: Big Beat UK # Audio CD (April 5, 2001) # Original Release Date: 1968 # Number of Discs: 1 # Label: Repertoire # Audio CD (May 29, 2004) # Original Release Date: 1968 # Number of Discs: 1 # Format: Import # Label: Teichiku I guess there is a new one coming out - looks like no bonus tracks
  19. Under A Blood Red Sky was the first one I ever got - back in the day. It's a trip to watch that concert and then watch Rattle and Hum. I like Seconds and also, Drowning Man. Two Hearts Beat As One - probably the first U2 song I ever heard.
  20. Mine too - I wish they had just put out Pride as a single and left it off the album though. It messes up the flow.
