I think there was a thread about that somewhere. Also - admission to the one of the webcast?
-
I paid 21 bucks - but I suspect everyone will be paying 25 or so where I bought it.

I would not use Limewire.
-
I have tapes going back to 1976/77 - which is when I got my first tape player and tapes.
-
I actually had a nice Panasonic something or the other from the 80s that someone gave me - but it did not work long - and I did not think it was worth it to try and fix it.
-
Well, The Eagles are part of The Dharma program.
-
Mine is busted also - so the whole thing just sits there.
-
That's what I have - the receiver anyhow. A friend of mine gave it to me. I had to customize all the inputs of everything to fit in the holes. I am surprised it will run a cd player, equalizer, speakers, and turntable - but it does. I don't have a cassette deck - I hope to get one eventually.
-
I should have posted where I found that - it was in an article about ABC's new fall line-up or something like that.
-
I am sure you can or soon will be able to find all these tracks on various illegal BT sites.
-
I see no reason to do such a thing - unless as you said - it is out of print or bootleg stuff. There are programs to denoise the tracks - I leave them in - others, remove them. It is up to you. I use SoundForge.
-
That is some serious BS.
-
I read that to mean use the USB to listen to the LP - instead of using, say my 1972 receiver.
-
No - it is used to run a turntable off the computer. Plus - we have had threads about turntables that use a laser system to play records as opposed to a needle.
-
Now that is an interesting point.
-
I say it is already that way - again, although some Wilco fans may buy a record album, the 8 million (insert current pitch corrected american idol plastic dry hump person ) fans will not be buying such a thing. I have not bought a new record since Pearl Jam - Vitology - and have no desire to really.
-
That's a good rule to go by - maybe we should forget the NY stuff then. Maybe next we can do a set I have called The Collected Jeff Tweedy (I think) - it came from someone on here years ago.
-
I am selling some photos of Jeff and on me Ebay, along with the poster Jlackey made - I hope to get a hundred or so for them.
-
I suppose that's a grey area - as they are out of print. I once had the guy who runs the Black Crowes board tell me that it did not matter if something was out of print - it was still ripping off the band to post whatever it was.
-
He's playing downtown here - I just hope he does not try to hold me like Jeff does.
-
I will be talking to him Thursday night - I will ask him for a copy.
