Pick the next "find a band member for ..." show

That is the best album he ever made or will make for that matter. The ones before it, and a few after it, have their moments, but are really train wrecks. -

That too. I actually bought Smiler (which stinks) the very night after I saw Wilco for the first time. -

He put money over soul - he sold out. -
Have you tried decoding thru the errors? I think I have done that before.

It's the spreading it around that is the problem. What ones does with their files, by themselves in the dead of night, is their business. When you spread Mp3's for trade purposes, sharing on message boards, (attempted) torrent purposes, selling on Ebay (bad all the away around - but I have seen people trying to sell Mp3 cdrs on there), etc. - then that is where the problems begin. This stuff is suppose to be passed around by means of certain standards and protocols - this insures that the dude who gets the Wilco show from 2003 in 2008 will still have a good sounding show - just like the o

Driveshaft? -
I don't - I think it was just a deal to get people to buy the anthology series. Plus - that was all the rage for a while - Nat Cole's daughter dueting with him, Hank Jr. and his dad, etc.

As I have said before, I was taught these things by some folks on this board. And I am always willing to teach what I know about this stuff. Let's look at another way - would you want, say a Led Zeppelin show (or some other old band) via a reel to reel--> cassette--->DAT--->WAV--->Flac--->Mp3 OR the show via reel to reel--->Wav--->FLAC? which one do you think is going to sound better when you get it and then do what you will -

Again, this is pretty standard out there. And - it is not hard to convert WAV or FLAC to Mp3. All it takes is effort and practice. I say these things after some talks with tapers - who do this work and ask that whole collections of their work not be posted around in a Mp3 format.
-
I don't think I was rude on this one - again, it's a standard deal on the message boards I have seen to point out when threads have already been posted on something. Granted, if it is from a few months ago, it is pushing it. It is really bad form to do this sort of thing in Mp3 - again standard practice. What one does for themselves is their business - but, when you spread around a lossy version of something - it does more harm than good in the long run. I really wish the people who run this place would ban posting of more than a single Mp3 track. Also - I am going to give a break on the sec

Yes - but everyone has one of those now. It is a great free marketing tool. I am not voting for that guy.

The dad knows something - or was it a call for help? He's the dude who ripped off Sawyer's family.

Not really a Beatles song - a John demo with added on stuff.

I think I may like the pre-Loaded tracks the best in some ways.
