If you watch The Prisoner, you will see that they had a room set up with such things to deal with difficult people. I think A Clockwork Orange predates The Prisoner though. The book that is - not the movie.

Sawyer 1 Big dude 0 The scene of the boy being subjected to film/noise is a total Prisoner rip-off.

I can respect that - just not my trip.

Personally, the only reason I ever bought the Golden Smog stuff was for Gary's songs. As I recall, the last album seems to be more of Dan Murphy/Kraig Johnson deal. Weird Tales, for me, is the best one. I do not care for power pop type songs - I hope the Gary and Mark album does not sound like that. The only Jeff songs I really care for are Radio King, I Can't Keep From Talking, and Long Time Ago.

I agree - except for maybe two songs.

I watched Clerks II yesterday - I thought it was a piece of crap. I still think the best Kevin Smith film is Clerks.

Right the mall - we had no independent record stores. All my albums from the age of 12-18 came from Camelot, Hills, or G.C. Murphys. There was a National Record Mart downtown when I moved here - summer 1987.

Did you ever have a Camelot Music?
